Looks like our newly appointed marketing manager (  Grin ) has been busy .

Welcome to all. We have as many slots as the server, which usually maxes out at 28
and we rarely get anything like that many, so join in, the racing here is pretty fair
but please have a read at the regs when you get a minute...

Condensed version:

If you knock someone off stop/slow and wait for them to get back in front, even if it
was not really your fault.

Keep at least two wheels on the grey track at all times, driving all 4 wheels across non
track surfaces will be considered cheating. Please do not be offended if someone makes
an incident report involving you, maybe you really were naughty and hacked someone off.
We try to keep incident reports to a minimum (preferably none) but if you see someone
driving regularly badly - like using other cars as brakes, driving straight over chicanes
a lot, or someone gets rough and shoves you off track but then doesn't wait or take a drive through
then report them.

At our last race at Portimao there were lots of examples of people driving outside the
kerbs on the last and first corners. (And maybe elsewhere)
That track is very forgiving and people take liberties, but do please resist  Roll Eyes

Sorry to go on a bit, but I had reports of big time kerb cutting at the last race, so just want
to remind people of the rules. Biggest rule of all though is just get on track and enjoy

Why I thank'you...takes a bow  euro  Glad to increase the numbers, thought for a long time we've missed a trick not selling our great racing elsewhere.

To Dragon, no RS/RSR for me alas...im not rich !  :'( Just a lightweight track prepped 3.2 carrera  Smiley ala here:-  https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?topic=11359.0

Apathy I guess..  laugh

No seriously, Geoffers pointed me this way a month or two ago when we finished our team-mate stint in a Gamers Crib league, so I've been meaning to drop in for awhile now. Thanks to all for the welcome - I've read all the rules and will try not to get in anyone's way!

@ Geoff - thanks for the kind words. Don Rennis must have paid you to say those nice things about me..!

@ Mark - nice 911 there. I've had track time in a similar car, similar vintage, fully race-prepped which my dad and I use to share. Been to most of the British circuits in it, til he had a big accident at Pembrey and rolled it..

Welcome to all the new racers.

It's just typical that I should be feeling mankey just when we may get our best entry yet!

Been in bed with flu all week and my head still feels peculiar.  Not sure I could even beat Legzy in this state.  Grin

If I don't make it to the start line tonight, hope you all have fun and a good clean fight.

At least I shall only be missing the roller skate race.  Roll Eyes  I shall be devastated to miss out on Paul Ricard.

Don't want to cast a shadow over all this joy but IIRC we used to have random driver drops if we approached 22-23 drivers when we ran P&G 2. Possibly P&G 3 has resolved this however I thought it was due more to our server.

Heck, if the Eyetalians join as well (not likely as Matteo is wheel less still I believe) we will be crowded
I won't be there, so Mogget can have my place, Clive may not be and his conn has been dodgy
of late as well, so probably be ok. Our server ran ok as far as I remember at Melbourne, so see how
it goes. I object to paying loadsamoney for a service that doesn't deliver, when I can deliver a half
decent service on my BT Infinity for no extra cost.
We had some funny conns the other week in a GTL race, I never know whether it's the game, our server, people's poor conns or just internet weather.

@MJ you can have a 1/4 cut of whatever I get paid  laugh

As a newbie here I'm more than happy to drop out if big numbers turn up and the server starts to show the strain.

Welcome Frex and Animal Ed and Mogget too if he manages to join us. Saw MJs post over at NG and great to see more drivers joining us as a result  Cool

A special welcome to Animal Ed as I think most of my GTL setups were based on yours when I started out.

Not sure what we'll be taking tonight. Jules is time trialing the Escort atm but we might both go with the 1750 Alfa.

MJ if you're track daying it at Oulton watch out particularly for the exit of Old Hall as I've seen big offs there each time I've visited.
