Sorry thought of a couple more things:

-If SeniorDan wasn't a SBRC driver, I'd suggest somebody inspects the replay to see how he mysteriously got DQ? Undecided

-Great win for Joss in that beast of a car & to Ed for holding onto the 'Stang's tyres as long as you did Cool

What happened at the start? looks like there were some false starts?
A good handful of people hadn't practised the race start in offline mode, majority vote was to restart & try again.

Think that would be for track cutting, i checked his laptimes when he 1st mentioned it, and he had 3 laps not counted, which would be a drive through, the last of which was 3-4 laps to go, so would have been DQ`d when he finished

Replay is broken again. is only a 24k file. May need to reinstall PG next week.
Results posted. Two "unknown" drivers. If you get chance to register then I will try to regenerate the results so
you get points.

What happened at the start? looks like there were some false starts? I tested this (as I now test all events) for the
start, and it seemed straightforward. It sounded like the lights were green before the start, then went red
then green for the actual start? didn't notice that in testing.  Huh

start was definitely a complete mess for me, lights green then red then green and people getting going and stopping again. If I had been aware that there was something fishy I had just watched the timing but I let it all confuse me.

Next time around I'll practice the start offline. I did a whole 19 lap long run to see how tyres wouldhold up but didn't think of testing the start, sorry

Could you also perhaps drag out the log file from your local drive. It's under \PnG3\UserData\LOG\Results.
It should be larger than 5 Kb.

Fantastic Race,
Most of the race was me following Alex not being able to make a move. It was funny really because you could see where the Porsche was faster and where the Mustang was quicker.  Smiley Managed to keep behind most of the race and had some great side by side races in some places. By about lap 17 my tyres were gone because I was pushing so hard to keep up with Alex.
Great piece of driving Jules. Could stretch my lead on the Mistral straight but you where right on my bumper in the twisty parts.. And that for almost all race. Tyres were also pretty melted and almost lost it a couple of times.
Congrats to Jos The Boss for the win.

I started to watch the replay for highlights and ended up watching almost the whole race again!

From a fellow IROC driver to another, I have to say Goldtop had some amazing pace!!! Grats on Jos though for getting top step of the podium!

Some tremendous battles along the way, praise has to go to Purdie who obviously understood the differences between our cars & harassed me where he could while never putting the two of us in danger euro, then as thanks he got to eat my dust, watching as I disappeared down the straights Grin

Was a great race, starting a few places down from where I hoped after the restart but no excuses since Legzy drew the short-straw at the back! Had a cracking battle with Geoffers (sorry about tap on last corner!) and then trying to hold-off Legzy and then hold-on too him meant 19 quali laps!!! I knew if I had any chance of winning that fight I needed to make a move in the corners and get the gap onto the straight but once behind I had no such opportunity.

No worries about the tap Nik, I held onto it just  Wink and thanks for slowing down/backing off  Smiley

Great driving everyone...... we need Power and Glory races every week and the odd 90 min Enduro!!!!  laugh

Hehe, thought the same Clive, some erroneous data must have been imported  Grin

Looks like (as suspected) i missed a corker  :'(   I'll put some praccy laps in for next weeks event but very much doubt ive got any chance of racing, might just have got away with a normal race distance but a 70minuter will take the whole evening away.

First of all thanks a lot for letting me race with you guys in such short notice.
It was a great fun race for me even though I had very little time to really prepare but it helped cuz Iv raced this track in modern cars.
Some of the guys here Iv raced before some were new to me, I must say some fast driving out there very impressing.
Im sorry to Andy and Geoffers for the contact was just miscalculation by me in a corner I found hard to brake with the IROC

No worries about the tap Nik, I held onto it just  Wink and thanks for slowing down/backing off  Smiley

Cheers mate Smiley glad it wasn't major, and after I saw the replay I lost my car right in front of u in the first lap and u hit me sorry about that as well, the car was just turning right nothing I could do Sad

Im looking forward to race again with you guys if ull have me Smiley

Cheers

Had a cracking battle with Geoffers (sorry about tap on last corner!)

Don't think it was me Purdie, I had already made a mess of things early on, after a good start. Was way down near the back of the field struggling to contain some lift off oversteer on the Pantera that was much worse than in qually. Couldn't seem to find a setup that was consistent, had one that gave me 2.07 laps in testing but was total bubbles in practice, made it better for qually then that was pants in the race. I'm trying out lots of different cars at the moment but I think I'll stick to something I can drive next time!  Roll Eyes

No problem with the collision Nik, just one of those nights!
