Yes Matt, I used the track from the current DL link.

BTW, are the car options mentioned in the race announcement final ?

Your doing a great job Matt, it's always going to be a tough job trying to achieve the tight balance in races in this first PnG3 season. You're going to have to make a lot of tough decisions 'for the best' along the way and I'm sure you'll enjoy everyone's support as you continue to give up your time & effort for our enjoyment.
Much appreciated thank you I Am Not Worthy

Tough one Stig. I have to try to balance my desire to produce the best race I can against annoying people
by changing car choices.

This week I can say for certain that none of the currently listed cars will be removed, and only cars listed in the announcement are
valid choices.

I might add a couple of slower cars for extra choice.
The closer we get to an event the less likely it is that the cars will change.
Only reason I am considering anything this week is because I have been away for the last two
weeks and have not been able to do everything I wanted to.

@Legzy: Thanks for that. Well, you did this for ages you should know  Grin

Didn't mean to critizise Matts dispositions, and I'm sure he knows how much I appreciate his work    Grin

In case you need it to sort out the balance-issue, these are my laptimes.

Ford Capri 2600:  2.39.500 on default setup, racefuel and hard tyres after just 3 or 4 laps. More practice and a better setup would probably cut 2 secs.

Porsche 914-6  :  2.39.690 on my own setup, racefuel and hard tyres after some 40 laps

Tried the Pantera Boss, but it would take me forever to get it competetive on this track.

Thanks Stig
I always always want as many times form as many people as possible, my times are not always representative
of what others do in some cars.

I don't take it as criticism, I understand that it's frustrating to do practice and setups only to find that your work
is reduced in value because another faster car is added at short notice.

I will add the Panty BOSS and the 911 2,5 for those who want more of a challenge  devil
The panty BOSS is nice here but is slower for me, and has higher tyre wear, so is unlikely to be my choice.
There will be no more car changes after tonight.

Track works fine online for me now.

Haven't tried all the cars yet, but the Capri and IROC seem well matched at low 2:38s currently. Capri is quicker down the straights, but slower out of the corners than the IROC so that bodes well. The 914 should be better here than at Ricard where it lost too much time down the straights and the 2.5ST will be a tough challenge for anyone in an endurance  Shocked I think the Panty will struggle in the corners.

You'll never please all the people all the time Matt, but I reckon you're doing a great job  Cool

The Capri and the Elan aren't in the list anymore because they were apparently too fast for the group.

Finally got around to trying the track last night after all the server shenanigans and must say it was worth the wait - great mix of slow technical corners and fast sweeepers, plus some rollercoaster changes in elevation - this track has it all!

Only tried the 914 and also getting low 38s - I'll probably stick with it as I only got 2 laps in it last week. Feels right at home here though..

Watch out for a black hole on the inside of turn 17 there is a temptation to put wheels over the kerb
but in previous events at this track some people found themselves spinning into the green part
on the inside and disappearing into another dimension, Please be carefull there or you will have
a short and annoying race.  Shocked

Theres an outside chance i may actually get to race this, for once real lifes fickle ways coming to my aide  Tongue Not sure if i will get to do the full 70mins but will see on the night. But not done a lap yet and dont think ive ever raced at Potrero  Undecided so also depends if i get any laps in before then!

Matt, have you tested pitting here yet? There has been the odd enduro race in the past using add-on tracks where people get unfortunate DNF's when it came to pit stop time. Might be worth a pre event check just to make sure!

I think also your making hard work for yourself trying to create a small number of very similar paced cars for these first season P&G3 races, as noble as it is.  angel An enduro like this would have made an ideal test bed for a bigger spread of cars to see how they fared over a proper race distance, when factors like fuel consumption and tyre wear make a difference. Would have been good to see how the bhp tyre shredding monsters fared against some of the more nimble machines over 70mins  Smiley  Still, theres always the next enduro  Smiley

You finished 10th in an Alpine last time we did P&G here.

I tested it, and it seems to work fine. Note that there is an automatic pitspeed limiter here, but you don't get a penalty, if you enter the pit zone too fast, as far as I could tell.
