Season 24 - Sports Car Trophy

There will be loose grid starts for all races.
The events will be run on Intermediate damage and allow ONE Shift-R with a compulsory Stop and Go pit stop regardless of fault.
Any driver who fails to take a Stop and Go within 1 lap after a Shift-R, will be disqualified from the results.
 

This split format was devised to try and get both the Gt's and the Can Ams into season 24 so that those who enjoy them can at least have some the opportunity to exchange paint samples.

There will probably be a free car choice, but drivers must use a different chassis for each race. that means you will use 5 different GT cars and 5 different Can Am cars through the whole 10 race series.

IF ( and it is only an " if " at the moment) pitstops are introduced, they are likely to be simple SnG's as a form of mild handicapping. More details later.

Car set: GT mod and Can Am mod
Date: Every second Friday from 18 January 2013
Time: no later then 9:00pm UK Time (30-60 mins practice, race starts at 9:30pm)
Race Length: 50 minutes

If there is enough demand..................the list is a last minute provisional one to get this registration rolling.

Maybe we could swap Riverside for Spa? Although the intention was to keep as many simple pappy tracks in there as possible.

For a real GT driver the chicanes are no problem even with a CanAm! Of course some inexperienced will forget to brake in time...
