Season 24 – Formula 2 Trophy

A step up for the year old release of the 1967 Formula 2 cars. As in season 23 we will split drivers between Light and Heavy divisions.

Please check the Season 24 pages for details regarding rules and the Formula 2 Trophy  pages in particular.

The races will be run as follows:

Car set: F2 Mod
Date: Every second Sunday from 20 January 2013
Time: 9:00pm UK Time (Approx 30 mins practice, race starts at 9:30pm)
Race Length: Long
Damage Model:  Intermediate
Server: UKGPL_T7_2
Race List: IGOR

Only one Reset is allowed per race.

The provisional calendar may be changed at the discretion of the Divisional Moderator.

Handicapping
Race 1 & 2 is a free choice of car. From Race 3 the following will apply.
Group I cars - Braham BT14 & Fearri
Group II car - Cooper
Group III cars - either Lola or either Lotus
Championship leader will be restricted to Group I or Group II or Group I if more than 50 points clear of the second place driver. Second & third places in the championship can take cars from Group I, II or III. Chassis alloaction is effective when the race is posted, irrespective of whether points are adjusted after moderation.

A couple of amendments to the series rules.

Handicapping - slightly relaxed from last year - see above.

This season only one reset will be permitted per race - for all divisions.

Race distance will be around 45 minutes.

Sensible amendment Bill, although I can't see anyone taking the BT14 when they can have the Ferrari.

No more "full" place , but i registered here too . I hope it will be possible to run .
My priority stays the Privateers Championship.
