If you think we require a 2nd car choice I can edit the vote.

The Porka is always going to be a marmite car & by the fact it was used last time, it should not even be on the vote for possible drives.

It may well win the most popular choice, but I'd not be surprised to see it win a which car would you like to drive the least.

well i just tried all but the spyker (leave that to the Dutch teams  Wink )

and have to say, the 997 is still my preference. It has one of the best cockpit layouts/views and i am the most comfortable driving it quickly around Spa. Seemed to handle better than the last GTW version i used here, which felt wrong to me at the time.

2nd choice would be the Jaguar or F458, both drive nicely and look the part, and would be happy to take either of these.

I was disapointed in the Aston which sounds like a Mosler or Saleen. wheres the screamy aston engine gone?

Quite liked the Lambo but also looks like your driving something out of Space1999 from inside view!

Beemer had a duff cockpit and was the only car i couldnt get cleanly up through eau rouge using default setups.

I've tried a few, really only on defaults. Mainly becuase i normally find normal setups are too slow and end up going with something that i would never have come up with.

The bmw did feel strange, bit too much understeer but it seemed to react well. Aston felt ok, but just felt too slow. Jag felt nice and and easy perfect for 3hrs. Porsche, not sure, need more time as it could bite quite easily.

Being neutral here, i can only see this poll going one way as many people here have suggest 1 or 2 cars thy would be ok to drive.

Yep same here. I played with the setup and with the diff turned it up & other tweaks it feels more secure and less twitchy, down to 2m20's so still 2-3 seconds off the aliens but no slower than I was last time alien

Yeah I think people need to suggest their second car choice, particularly those with a 911 as their first choice. I'm happy not to go with the 911 if we do veto the car.

My 2nd choice would be the Jag, I think for 3 hours it would be a fine choice. I don't want to be negative but I think winning is out of the question (judging by alien pace from GTWeb regulars) so the more comfortable the car the better! We know from experience if we are trouble-free then we can be in with a shot at a podium. We had one disco last time while running a comfortable 3rd and ended up 7th or 8th. It can just as easily happen to others though  Cheesy

Judging by the times posted there is only 5 Jags!

EDIT: changed my vote to Jag officially now

Found a good setup for it as well if anyone wants to try to see if it works for them. It's in quali format but for the race version (still a WIP) i put mediums on all-round, adjusted the pressures accordingly and down a click on the front and rear springs. I have adjusted all damper settings, diff and geometries so it is quite different from the default setup. Down to low 2m20's with this setup, so not blindingly quick but it feels consistent without any nasty habits.

I'm a little bored at the moment while work is quiet so have tried my hand at skinning again! I ripped off the paragon colour scheme but carbon firbed up the rear wing and added some relevant sponsors (rather than just choosing random good looking ones that sort of suit the colour scheme)

No worries if we end up with a different car, I just wanted to practise skinning something and the template was relatively simple

Nice job, but we've got to be in British racing green or union jack colours in a Jag surely !?

Gold BBS rims look tasty though  Cool

Nice skin, very descreet in a field full of some amazing eyesores! You've got more space on the jag compared to the porka surely Wink

Oooo, does this mean i get a complimentary fanatec wheel for the event Grin
