I think you're being a tad ambitious, thinking you could keep up with me in my 70's Pantera Tongue

So was that your way of telling us you're doing 2:08's MJ? I'll see if I can knock out some laps tonight after PnG to help you know how much more time you need to find whistling

I'm not even sure if we're racing the same layout as we did in PnG  Undecided

My practice laps so far have been on the longer circuit that we used in the past for a GT1 race as I assumed it would be that one.

While we're on the subject of laptimes, I'm just trying to recall who took fastest lap in the PnG race  angel

Is this the modern stripe track or the one weve run in GTL which features a rather too short front straight!

It's the modern stripey one spanner, the full gt layout(I assume), that's what I set my times on.

Yeah, it'll be the "GT" layout for GTR2, we used the old fashioned (but better) "PR" layout for PnG. Which would be why my 70's car was the same pace as MJ's modern GTC car laugh.

So I think H@L needs to change the track we're using in LM2, as it shouldn't be showing the PnG laptimes from a different layout. I'm pretty sure we've had GTR2 races here too, which should display their records (once the right track is in LM2).

2:07 is the best I've done so far (Race trim).

Should be a good circuit for the Viper. Initial forrays suggest 2:08s for me in the Exige (which I'm actually beginning to like quite a lot  tt1)

Didn't take you long to set that! I had to bang around for an hour before I reached my time, also set with full tank.  Smiley think this circuit suits the fezza better than the rear heavy 911.

is this rule currently being applied?

(4) Drivers may only change car once in the season without penalty.

Yes.

EDIT
If you click on 'scoring' next to the heading 'GTC - Drivers Championship' on this table:
https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?action=LM2R&group=397&theme=4&scoring=778#ch778

It should show the scoring system in use.

Yes, you lose about 20% of the points you earn in the race you take your 3rd car.

So I think H@L needs to change the track we're using in LM2, as it shouldn't be showing the PnG laptimes from a different layout.

That should be sorted now.
