Hard luck frex. It is annoying. I know. Grats to Niels. I think that Tudor was in stealth mode. They could have done with putting another shilling in the meter at the back of the circuit. If we have another one in the dark, please can it be when I'm on holiday? I'll send you the dates Matt.

Sorry to hear, Frex. Had that at Hungary, running in 4th - very frustrating. Well, what can I say about this one? My first win! And a surprisingly easy one, as many quick drivers had chosen to self-handicap by selecting slower or trickier cars. I saw Goldtop spin off in my mirrors coming on to the back straight on L1, and that's exactly what I have done at least once per lap every time in the car he had picked. As races go, this was an uneventful one. I qualified on pole and was satisfied with my lap, but thougth that others had sandbagged / qualified on race fuel. At the start, I duly lost a place to Clive, also in a Cobra, but found that I could keep up with him easily and eventually re-pass him. From then on, I managed to slowly pull away. Nearly everybody did their pitstops at the same time, after L13. I came back in 2nd and retook 1st when the leader pitted. I don't really know what happened, my pace dropped off significantly in the second part of the race but it seems everyone else got even slower. Everyone I lapped was very courteous and got out of the way very quickly, thank you - I didn't have time to flash the lights every time! Next time I'll pick a mid-field car and crash or come last!

Well that was a bit of a struggle. Game was running very slow on lap 1 and I managed to spin it and put it in the wall going onto the back straight. Waited until everyone passed or at least thought I had, but reversed into Jamera's path and he slammed into me. Very sorry for that mate and hope it didn't cause you too much damage Unfortunately my tank was now handling worse than ever and I continued to make several errors trying to chase my way back. Fortunately I remembered to disable the 95 secs of repairs I'd stacked up when I stopped for fuel midway. I also used the pitstop to turn the lights off in my mancave as I'd lost my headlights on lap 1, which turned out to be the most intelligent thing I did all night Had a nice little chase with Legzy for the last few laps and snuck another place back when he spun on the penultimate lap

very unfortunately race. the xd hides the black flag in in car view, and i have been disqualified. reading on first page of this topic, the notes says: "(4) P&G has no 'Pit Speed Limiter' function. You may go as fast as you like in the pits, but please exercise caution. Penalties will be handed out for causing contact in the pit lane. Use your best judgement when making your pitstop during the race." why did i received the black flag due speed limit in pit? sorry for my english...i hope u understood what i mean!

Sorry to hear this Tahander. I asked this question earlier in this thread and Manteos kindly checked the track file and warned us about the possibility of there being a pit speed limt. Someone also warned us of this on the server in practice session this evening, but you might not have seen or understood that. Might be good to amend this part of the announcement for future races where pitstops are required.

@ TaHander, bit misleading that really as think it means there is no self enforced pit limit for us drivers in the various pre race sessions but there is a speed limit during the race as set by the track. I assume you turned off your pit limiter then? Cracking race event that, really enjoyed it, very atmospheric with the night lighting. Loved the tyre smoke hanging in the air by the glow of the track lighting...very very cool! Was 6th most of qually but ended up 8th on grid. Had a good start and was running well in 4th for first few laps. Unfortunately geoffers whacked me at the end of the straight under braking and I span. This dropped me back into a good fight with several cars for many laps but allowed the top 3 to disappear :'( Had a great long battle with TA's Shelby coupe for most of the race but eventually pulled out a decent gap. Had a totally error free pit stop! (I practised a few just before the race to spite legzy ) Rejoined behind Johns Jag, caught and passed him (oh the glory!) and brought the car home 4th just a few secs behind Animal Ed after taking a heap of time out of his lead. Might have had a podium tonight. Great event, the 70mins flew by! Loved driving the cobra which felt much more alive with a few tweaks. Congrats to Nils for the win and the podium finishers

Find your xd.ini file (in your main P&G folder) and open it using Wordpad or similar. Look for Motec HUD position and change value to 500. This should move your onscreen xd to mid screen and then you will see all flags. ; MoTeC HUD postion: ; Default x = auto; y = auto MotecPosX=auto MotecPosY= 500

Tedious technical issues for me . Took over half an hour to join the server, got into the lobby OK but on trying to join the server the game just sat there. Must have been some connection issue as I tried GTL & that was the same, so not a P&G problem. Eventually it did work & I just had time for a couple of qually laps. Race started well but after a couple of laps cars started disappearing for a second or two & then reappearing. Bumped Mark into a spin on one such occasion, sorry Mark . After another lap it started getting worse & after I saw Frex have a moment behind me I thought I was probably lagging so decided to quit before I caused more problems. Congrats to the podium, hopefully it was just a blip & I will cya all next week.

...after I saw Frex have a moment behind me I thought I was probably lagging so decided to quit before I caused more problems. I was having a bit of a moment all on my own Geoff (had several of them actually..!), not your fault at all. Sorry you were having problems. For me Ferrari felt great in qually, but a handful in race. I was running on my own in P8 when pc crashed, so hopefully no-one else was affected. Congrats to the podium.

Errr I don`t think so. Last 10 laps I was in crusing mode. Despite one spin I had big enough margine. Actually that spin was my only mistake when Jarda had fun racing against me despite being lap down forcing me to monitor my mirrors more than watching where I`m going ... and I did one more mistake but that was not driving mistake - in first stint I did 14 laps and enter the pits with enough fuel for one more. And that`s not all. Don`t know why but hotkeys for managing pit stop didn`t work so I took 120 liter of fuel despite 90 liter would be enough for me. So this is my first podium finish in absence of some fast guys but I`ll take it. Anyway, after 2,4 hour or 14 laps race on VLN Nordschleife, this was relaxation. btw I was on Dunlops ...

Well I think that went as well as could have been expected, and I can't really complain about fifth in the Jaaag Qualified on P10 and it looked for a while that Frex and I were going to be pretty close, but after his unfortunate pc crash it turned out to be a lonely rest of the race for me. Jumped a bunch of people in the pits, as I was hoping to do, but it still wasn't enough to catch back up to the quicker guys. Got caught and passed by Mark with a few laps to go, but that was pretty much the highlight of the second half. Didn't really help myself by clattering the wall at T1 on the third lap, got distracted by looking at XD going over the line and forgot to brake! Doubt it would have affected the result though, as the car didn't feel much worse afterwards. Grats to Neils on the win, and well done Clive for picking up valuable team points while I was fannying around in the mid-field On a personal note - I wouldn't like to see anyone feeling pressured to take a slower car because they won (ie, Neils ), I've only been taking slower stuff in the hope of having some more racing action, which usually works, but it looks like I went a bit too far this time
