i assume the races still run the same?? except no pit and 40 min race

Yep, no pitstop and 40mins (though H@L might do a lap count).

Don't forget the formation lap and rolling start on pit limiter. Go when the driver in front of you goes, unless you're on pole  Wink

Was anyone else getting lag after MJ left?

Everything was fine for me until then, lag just got worse and worse, eventually my position stopped working and finally about 4-5 laps later everyone vanished  Huh

Well that was a waste of time and effort. Apologies to anyone that fell foul of my lagging car. I saw spanners message but he was nowhere near me on track at the time so dismissed it as an anomaly. Then the game said it was synchronising then h@l got on the comms, so quit.  Angry
No idea why, my router was fine and missus wasn't on her laptop (my initial thought!) so must have been atmospherics  Huh It's pretty cold up on the north downs tonight!
H@ls car was warping in front of me on the warmup lap so??

Can I moan about timekeeping while I'm in a bad mood, that's the 2nd race in a row that's started about 10minutes late. I get enough aggro racing on a Sunday without delays.  surrender

Hope the rest of you had a good race. Got upto 5th before getting distracted by the messages but no pace to catch the top 4 without them binning it. Don't know how you guys were pulling 37's out the bag. boat

That was disappointing. Made a silly mistake on lap1 which allowed Legzy to close and pass, but then spun at T1 letting half the field through. Rejoined behind a very laggy MJ so had to keep my distance until he made an error which let me through.

Started to chase back and outbraked myself into the final chicane and despite slowing to ensure I didn't gain time through it, I was docked a lap (I think). My xd was jumping around showing drivers in different positions....very strange. Gave up as I appeared to be a lap down and last place  Roll Eyes

same problem as most, after H@l told MJ to quit, my race position was all over the place, then it said i was in 4th place but there was no gap to person in front or behind, i kept going for another 4 laps hopeing it would reset but it didnt so i thought i had disconnected and pressed escape. shame as this is one of my favourite tracks, still at least we can race it with LMP2's next week!

I had to ask you to stop due to your car warping MJ. It was quite bad. Sorry bud. Your ping was fine so no idea what the problem could be.

All cars appeared to have some small lag for a while after that from what I could see in the pits and the timings were going crazy. The lag seemed to go and the timings were correct again after about lap 14.

Something was defiantly not quite right with the server during that event. We have raced this track before with more drivers and less issues in the past I believe. Also sorry for starting practice one a bit late this evening.

That did not go so well for me this evening. I think some people may have had some fun out there tonight at least.

Thanks for racing all. See you at the next one.

Yea, especially Legzy was lagging, couldn't overtake him... Tongue Well done for the win and too bad for those with problems.

That is something I am considering. I may create a poll to see what drivers think. I will get back to everyone on this ASAP.
