Out of interest I'm taking the Elite for this one, partly to see if I can avoid being lapped by the entire field and also because I really like it Smiley

By the end of the evening I will be able to set the world record too Grin

Finally got the GT40, might take that out for a spin 1 time Smiley. Although I tried it a bit on Donny and it's a 'tough cookie' Wink.

I might start from the back and see how far I can go. I think 35 minutes is a bit too short to get on podium, especially if there are some aliens driving around.

Hmmm, think I might leave the TVR in the garage after the last race ... may take the Elan given the relatively short circuit, or perhaps the Renault....ah, choices, choices. Smiley

I will be reducing the max number of drivers that can join for this race down to 22, to see if it helps with these warp/lag/connection issues that people are still experiencing.

Thanks that sounds good. I hope that will kill all the lag and warp. A few races ago the pings were only 170 or 180 when some people left, so I hope that this will be the case from the start.

It would be helpful if people kept an eye on the ping rates and reported any users that have high pings (around 300ms or more) by PM to me (for analysis purpose, in case there is some correlation with high pings and driver physical location for example).

This could have been a fun race for me. I was in the Corvette and was qualified 6th or 7th, with GT40's and Cobra's infront. That would have been no fun so I rejoined.
But at the end of the formationlap I lost connection Embarrassed. Too bad, I was trying to test what this Corvette can do, because nobody drives it.

Hope I didn't cock up anyone's race, lost it going in to turn 1 and thought the car was far enough over to hit ESC so hit it, just hopr it didn't affect your racing. Was feeling quite confident aswell Sad Oh well, catch you all later.

Had a great race with Gerald, we were both overdriving slightly but never lost contact with each other. Thanks to all the lapping cars, all vey patient with us as we scrapped it out, especially Pero who lost quite a few seconds stuck behind me. Not sure what happened Gerald, looks like maybe you disco'd 2 or 3 laps before the end? Only excitement after that was going past Adrian's Elite on the straight like it was standing still. Shocked

Did hae to keep cooling the tyres a little but unlike the heavier cars I find in the Healey I can cool them and they come back.

That puts the final nail in the Elites coffin in GTC65 I think?

I qualified with the second fastest lap in the world!!!  Smiley

I saw the rev light every shift for 19 laps and even found myself having to back off behind other drivers in the twisty bits, but I was in a different race in so many ways Sad

I really thought I'd stay on the same lap as Dave Shocked

I think the worst of it was the fact I had to drive a pace lap at what was for me full race speed some of the time, frankly dangerous and not to be repeated, not that anyone would Roll Eyes

Enjoyed the drive for it's own sake, I love the little plastic fantastic anyway Grin
