Isle of Man TT pictures

Hello,

TT has just finished and I’m back in the real world but I thought I would share some of my photo’s. I’m not much of a photographer, so please bear than in mind.

Lets start with the electric bikes, because I think they are the most interesting.

This is Michael Rutter on the race winning bike, and fastest electric bike @ 104mph average lap.




He is his teammate, Mark Miller, who was 3rd in the race.




And the last pictures I’ve got is of John McGuiness. He was 2nd in the race, and I thought his bike was beautiful.

Last up is the Mugen Shinden bike, and once again I cannot describe how beautiful this bike is, these pictures do not do it justice.

This is Cameron Donald on the No 4 bike, towing around Ryan Farquhar.


Here is the race winner, Bruce Anstey, who was impressive to watch.





I'm not sure who this is, but I like his tassels on his leathers, I think he must have been a cowboy.

Some great pics in there    Surprised how good some of the electric bikes look (i immediately think of 'Tron' the movie when i think electric bikes!), do they sound good though?..or like fast milk floats? 

I feel the need to get over to the TT after watching that movie TT, close to the edge (great film if you havent seen it).

The electric bikes sound weird. At speed they sound like bikes, because they are pushing the air out of the way, but at slow speed, where you don't have the wind noise they do sound like fast milk floats

You should try to make it over if you can, it's certainly different

TT 2013 has started, I'll be out and about again with a camera.

This year I'm looking forward to what advances the electric bikes have made, and seeing all the normal star names. I think Michael Dunlop on the works Honda is a good bet for a race win or two.

My one TV concession on hols, wife could watch what ever she wanted apart from ITV 4 coverage of TT -  saw every night.  As you say some real mad men there.
