Good race albeit hard hot and tough, wrestling these around for 40mins! Qualied 6th or 7th and was pleased to set a 1:59 time just pipped at the end by GT. Spent entire race in 6th place chasing alessandro hard for 19 of the 20 laps. On lap 19 frex in 4th had some kind of incident ahead and AT and me caught him into the twisty section. Alessandro braked wider than normal forcing me even wider to avoid hitting him. I got one wheel on the grass and It just span me round. Gutted as it allowed GT who was 5 secs behind to scamper past and nick my hard earned 6th place :'( Still, could have been worse, finished 7th. Congrats to the fast podium, great pace.

... battle with Ed until he spun on the penultimate lap...
I spun because I was so annoyed when you pull "Schumacher" on me ... but that`s racing. Not easy to swallow that you need to lift off on home straight and start all over again from the other side ... Anyway, not my car, not my race track so 8th place is OK for me. Not half as annoyed as when you punted me off track at the start Ed....losing me several places....and then later almost had me off into T1 when you hit me as I was battling with Legzy, which lost me more time. I changed my line once, half way down the straight and kept my line into T1 and at no time did you have any of your car overlapping mine. I hardly call that a Schumacher move, but on this occasion I'll take it as a compliment

No need to be offended (if you are) because I said that`s racing and I accept that. ... for other incidents: you were so slow off the line, I would pass you anyway but right before my move to the right, I saw in my mirrors someone with even better start then mine so to go in his way was not an option and my lift off was not enough ... my mistake - apologies ... than your passing maneuver on me when "I run wide" to let my team mate go but not you with him ... didn`t count on yours elbows and almost finished in fence ( you choose much wider line despite having me on the left side almost giving me no choice to made that corner at all) ... that touch in T1 was payback (yes, I was also annoyed with that) .. considering "Schumacher" or should I call that "Hamilton" (remeber the race when he pull that move on Alonso in Malaysia few years ago and And Alonso was penalised despite having no way to escape, but rules are rules no matter how stupid they are sometimes) , yes , you changed line once but after my move and, if you didn`t notice, we had a touch so, yes, i had part of my car overlapping ... and that touch was main reason for my reaction besides fact that I hate defensive driving because it`s destruction of racing IMO. You say that you are satisfied with your 6th place and I said that i`m ok with 8th so, shall we move on ... (what? No peace smiley or shake hands!!!!) Well, peace my friend.

My usual sluggish start dropped me from P2 to P4, and I spent the next couple of laps looking for an opportunity to pass Geoffers. Finally made it, and headed off in pursuit of Clive. Caught him after a few more laps, and spent the rest of the race clamped to his tail. To be honest, we were closely matched for pace, and I was actually happy to be the one behind! It must have been hard work keeping me at bay for so many laps. I managed to get alongside him on the final lap at one point, but he had the inside line to the next corner, and he made a good job of "closing the door" as I tried to get past him around the outside I could see that he was struggling with his tyres at the end, but it was still hard work trying to find an opportunity to overtake, and I really didn't want to spoil such a fantastic duel by hitting him off the track at the very end of the race. Great stuff, Clive Well done to John for the solid win.

Unofficial LapChartGood race everyone - Especially Alex and Robert Beck. It looked like the three of us had about the same pace.
Yes, it was a good solid home race. First part dodging the spinning/sliding cars. No harm done Walter in T2. I ran into Robert and waited at T1 in one point in the race. Then a F1-esque battle for tenths of seconds ensued. Really cool. Don't forget Massimo with his Italian flair on the track . Even managed to hold the admin behind and didn't lose a lap. From my point of view clear racing so thanks to my competitors. Congrats to John.. I'm beginning to think that he is in fact that Hututu guy from Finland...

Hehe. I try my best, but there's far faster guys than me out there. Speaking of which, where have all the Italians gone recently?

Good 1st half of the race for me, was having another good scrap with Jarda, then as the tyres went off so did my car. Ended the race trying to catch Alex but couldn't :'( Good run Alex. Guys, a point: If you have an issue with someone's driving then this is not the place for deep discussion. Either put in an incident report, or send the other guy a PM and make your point that way or just make light of it in this forum. Multo Grassy ass. The Italians (other than Allesandro and Massimo) have a Thursday night league maybe every other Thursday, and Matteo is without wheel still I think....

Couldn't have been me. Didn't have contact with any other cars. After Walter passed me, I couldn't quite match his pace. Well done Walter. I'm adding Zandvoort to my list of least favorite tracks.

I had a great race. In qually, I never seem to be able to repeat on-line the sort of laps that I have managed in training sessions. With a JW Time Trial lap of 1:56.9 to chase, I had managed a 1:57.3 but sadly had to give best to Mogget for second on the grid. Thankfully Mogget’s starts resemble those of a ruptured duck, so I was able to nip past him off the line and had the option to get brave around the outside of John too. I decided to pass on that one. My start made my race and thankfully Geoffers slotted in behind me, giving Mogget someone else to bother before he got to me. There were some places in the lap where I was trying really hard not to cook the tyres, even when Mogget was closing in on me, as I was hopeful that I would be rewarded over the last few laps. After about five laps I had Mogget for company and as he has said that lasted for most of the race. He had a spin at the hairpin which I thought might indicate that his tyres were shot but no such luck, he was soon back on my case. I was safe so long as I achieved a clean exit from the corners but when the tyres gave in, I was having to lift at some points to stop myself from rotating. Thankfully I managed a clean exit from the last corner on most laps and hit most of my braking points. Congratulations to John on a fine drive and likewise to Mogget for a clean battle. Don’t think we actually touched once. A thoroughly soggy result! Also many thanks to Alex for the report. thanks to Matt for coming up with a race where I didn't have to decide which car I was going to use and also for making it one of my favourites.
