Moderator's Report

SUMMARY
Atillio gets a great start from pole and is chased down to Saite Devote by Al Heller. Unfortunately third placed man Ronnie suffers a catastrophic engine blow up barely 200 yards into the race. He pulls left to try to keep out of the way but the armco prevents him from pulling off the track. Thankfully some excellent driving from Doni who moved right to allow Bob enough room to pull out and pass Ronnie, prevented a major pile up.

Atillio gradually extended his lead and held on to secure his first win of the season. After temporarily loosing second place to Evil (who was subsequently discoed), Al looked set to claim second place. Unfortunately for Al the Repco engine had other ideas and a serious lack of power in the closing stages meant he dropped down the leader board to eventually finish sixth. This allowed Doni to grab a well deserved second place with Bob picking up the final podium spot.

A very clean race with nothing in the red zone and no reported incidents.

lololol yup! sorry Arf  blink

You were entirely innocent of throwing con-rods and whizzy bits across the track. I should have realised that it was an Art Artillery demonstration. Grin
