How much practice do you guys need?? Oschersleben is a default track, so it shouldn't take long to work out.
From what I can see, GTR2 haven't used it since 2009 (at least, that's when the lap records were set) and PnG have never used it. So it will take as much practice as any other. Think that I may have joined in a couple of CG practice sessions in v2.1 days but can't remember.

The suspensions on the BMWs are highly adjustable. I could see it taking some time to get it right. Of course, there is nothing wrong with the default set-up either.
I do not think that I will practice that much this week, but I might hop in the Porsche for fun. - Walter .

Clive,
Maybe it's just me, but I never seem to take very long at all to get up to speed on any of the default tracks. I know them so well by now that I can usually adjust very quickly with different cars.

Well I hardly know it at all.
And I may have to rethink the BMW policy as it seems a bit Mickey Mouse for the Capri!!

After the "made of sand" event, I think I should impose a mandatory car choice on our CLive so he doesn't have to worry about it. This event's edict is "Clive shall drive" (heck it rhymes) the......... Capri

Just found out that I can be there for the race, so this time Porsche is no go for me ... I'll go with newer IMSA. I do not think that I will practice that much this week, but I might hop in the Porsche for fun. - Walter .
Eeeek! that's not fun it's purgatory! It's a joy machine but too slow here.

compared to the allowed super fast capri and BMW variants it probably is sadly. (wish we'd stop allowing the 'all' bit when using those two cars!) It would get destroyed down the s/f straight and the back straight negating any advantage you'd gain in the twisties. Rude not to give it a try though Any laptimes for comparison? Not turned a lap yet but at least know the track very well

Vicky Park tomorrow btw.

... Any laptimes for comparison? Not turned a lap yet but at least know the track very well Race fuel and med tires - around low to med 1:35`s ... for me it is crutial to keep front tires in good shape which is not easy in BMW without radical setup changes ...

One question: this is Triple entry. Is this line OK? Across the white line (track border) ... btw Clive, according to my kids, I`m too old and, by joining Team Oldie, I'm just old ... see the progress! I`m getting younger and younger

It is good, this is what people do in GTR2 races, and the lines on the track draw it that way
