p.s. good to see MJ finally pulling his finger out, can't remember the last time he had a podium
Mallory Park in p&g a few weeks ago
Great race that tonight, really enjoyed it, proper sprint race. Only had half hour praccy this afternoon with GT & TT and could only do a mid 1:43 without improvement so made a couple more tweaks for qually and was bang on the pace from the start. Qualied 4th
Had a nervous few early laps tucked up behind NSF and nearly lost the car completely when he lost it in a fast uphill right. You just can't lift and brake mid apex in a 911...your gonna spin! Somehow I held onto the biggest oversteer moment and only lost 1 place to Spanner, which I quickly retook
That setback took me a fair few laps to re-close on NSF and GT.
Then Gt got spat off on the sf straight, leaving me and NSF to duel to the lights!
After many laps at 0.7 secs behind him, I stupidly ran a tad wide over a kerb and on grass verge on the slowest corner on the track
that gave him all the breathing space he needed for the last 3 minutes of the race.
Finished 3rd and held fastest race lap with a 42.5
pretty chuffed with that.
Congrats to TT who dominated in his Gallardo and NSF for 2nd.
Ps great turnout, well done all who turned up
