Thanks for the tips, Tony.
I did a couple of practice stops yesterday, but didn't notice a speed limiter. Might have just been distracted by real life problems.
I don't see Mexico in my locations folder, but I'm able to see the pit limit in some of the other track folders.

On the subject of pit stop speed limiter, when I was doing off line testing the driving view switched from bonnet to cockpit as the speed limiter kicked in.  However, last night this didn't happen and I was left in bonnet view, which is what I usually use.  I found during testing that the limiter kept me at 48 kph on my way out and so I tried to stay below this on the way in.

Last night I found that I could switch the ignition back on and start the engine whilst they were faffing with the second pair of tyres, thus being able to check that it was running before I was ready to leave.

Pit stop time was 52 seconds as I recall and I was able to get away smartly enough to mow down that bloke who was mincing about in front of me all pit stop!

Yes, also Yet this track is now being done.
though race for me. in qualy, with a good time, i managed the third position.
in the race start, due a low start, i lost 4 or 5 position and in the second corner i kick that white wheel on the side of the track, and, i ve done a very good turn around! Grin
Unfortunately all the cars behind me have risked a lot for not hit me. If i'm not mistaken, nik went offroad for my fault.
So i decided to wait him
During the race, something went wrong in pit for somebody, and abruptly and fortunately i got the 3 position, keeping until the end of the race.
this time maybe i ve got lucky. the 3 place was sneak!

In fairness there were only 7 finishers Tongue

Though I do wonder if we might be able to slip the Elan in with some of the slightly faster cars, should go well against the Daytona / Cobra 369 Willment / Ferrari 275 GTB Speciale / Chevrolet Corvette L88.
Personally I'd take it over a 914 too Lips Sealed

Thanks for the above suggestions - all food for thought. Strange thing is though i can park up and switch on and off at will no problem offline, but come the actual pitstop during the races and something is going wrong. If i can't figure it out un-mapping the keys could be a good idea, thanks for that suggestion john.

Hi Frex,

I see on Alex's lap chart that you had clocked up three track cuts, so PnG probably thought that you were serving your Stop-n-Go. There was probably a black flag hiding behind the nearly transparent XD panel.

Definitely not Clive, i don't use xD.. And anyway my stop/go penalty occurred after my stop.

I should clarify that i did manage to get going again after my stop, but only after repeated attempts at restarting the engine. My frustration at losing time and places got the better of me and in pushing too hard on my outlap trying to make up lost time i got 2 cuts within the first few corners (stupid..). That only added to my frustration so i really was not in the mood to continue. Academic anyway as i got discoed a few laps after whilst sat in the pits. Sigh.

I'm clearly doing something wrong at the stops, but i really don't know what. Should sit down and test it all thoroughly i guess, and i'd probably get to the bottom of it..
