Looks to me as though the 906 and Pantera are in one race and the Cobra, GT40 and Shelby are in another.
The 906 and Pantera seem much quicker than the others, which is a shame as I don't enjoy driving them much.

I would expect to be able to get at least a 2:22 out of the standard GT40 with race fuel, but it's difficult to know for sure without any practice. I managed high 2:18s in the Gulf car in a WSL race earlier this year, and I am usually 2 or 3 seconds quicker in that car than the standard one.

It was simracing-UK-MIX that I couldn't connect to. The proper one wasn't visible.
Can now see correct server and connect to it but still can't connect to simracing-UK-MIX, whatever that is.

That is my practice server. I have it running one race in advance when it's up. I will have a look at it
EDIT: Seem ok, could someone try to connect to -MIX to test it, thanks.

Not really a sabbatical.......... Gents, During spring and summer there are traditionally a lot of other things I have to attend to so I won't be around much. Whenever possible I'll jump in and join in the fun, though. See you on track (occasionally). (senior)Dan

I had a nice practice session with the Pantera. My lap times are in the 2:26's at the moment. I just hope that I am fast enough to mix it up with the back markers.

A quick test of the GT40 netted a fastest lap of 2:22.7 with 80L in the tank (50 per cent fuel load).

How do you get that thing round corners? I'll probably go for the 906 and crash, or the 911, enjoy myself, and finish towards the bottom of the midfield.

I had strange problems in qualifying and the race. I couldn't get the car hooked up properly in qualifying, and then when the race started, I noticed that the wheel was incredibly stiff. I could hardly turn it at all! That resulted in a spin on the first lap, and I quickly pressed ESC to avoid causing a disaster

A reminder why I don't drive Pork & should never drive Pork. Had decent race pace & was up to forth as I edged alongside/past GT, but as i did so, after only 4 laps my rear end just wanted to overtake me at two of the corners despite not pushing hard from there on in. I quit in disgust (though I don't know why it cam as a surprise ). I was kind of a bit stuck for car choice mind, faced with yet another race in a Pantera, either carp Porka or a couple of cement blocks with a rocket attached to them. Big time looking forward to some Fezza Vs Jag Vs Lotus action next week
