Moderator's Report

Only one incident of note although several cars left the track early and Tristan over rotates just in front of Hristo, who has nowhere to go, just outside the Red Zone - but that's racing.

Well done top Piero for keeping it nice and clean from the back.

Server replay time: 0h01m01s

Cookie outbrakes himself and cuts the corner. As he rejoins he is a bit hasty and joins in Andreas path. He should have been a bit more patient!

Rules say "The rejoining driver was NOT in full control but nevertheless attempted to drive straight back onto the racing line without any consideration for other drivers and contact was made." I think Cookie did recognise that Andreas was there but wobbled as he rejoined. So only 1 place penalty. He gets the other place back for a Red Zone incident :(

A rerun is out of question IMO. Just because of a replay? We have the results, just upload a client replay to serve as a server replay. Or at least put up a vote about it. I very much doubt most people would like to run this track again this season, plus I can't accept that after driving one of my best races the result has to be dropped as if nothing happened.

Guys, I think this is just a rule of the league, it is not as if we can bend and change the rules because some people don't like the track...

I tried to stay with Art in the early laps but I was struggling with a car that had 3 flat spots on each tyre and broken springs. I reckon it was sabotaged  Roll Eyes

Obviously that must have been Ronnie. It would explain why  he had to let his granny start the race in his place while he was still busy with your car... Grin Grin

Rules serve as a guideline, Art, not as an absolute. Of course the rules have exceptions, a smart administrator would adapt the rules to the situation, not just blindly follow them. The rules doesn't make much sense anyway. I would understand if a rerun is done due to a mass disco or something, but because there is no server replay, even though we have the race results? Ridiculous!

There is a replay on the race server but it has some glitches...

So just wait and see what Paul can do Wink

By the way, Gran says the race result should stand.

Lol Ronnie. You should have told her that it was a one way route, no incoming traffic to be worried about going round those blind turns. It seems that when I came to lap her she was expecting some crazy kid on a scooter coming up the wrong way from the beach   Grin Grin

As for the results, we shall see some time soon I think Evil

Well, I wouldn't race in the rerun, so whatever is decided it's the same to me. IMO the idea of the rule is when the results can't be extracted, which is clearly not the case right now.

Come on H, we are just fooling around. Paul must be out of town, I am sure results will be up soon  Tongue.

Nope - generally has to be half the field all at the same time... although each circumstance is looked at individually.

Results are in and no re-run I am afraid. Sorry for the late upload - I was away from Friday night until tonight.

I'm back to waving my arms about again!  I'd to go Light at Schottenring - would've easily won the last round in Heavies, except for a strong Atlantic breeze which blew a sand dune under my wheels.  So I'm fully equipped to act as a Light road sweeper. Wink
