Moderator's Report

Only one incident of note although several cars left the track early and Tristan over rotates just in front of Hristo, who has nowhere to go, just outside the Red Zone - but that's racing.

Well done top Piero for keeping it nice and clean from the back.

Server replay time: 0h01m01s

Cookie outbrakes himself and cuts the corner. As he rejoins he is a bit hasty and joins in Andreas path. He should have been a bit more patient!

Rules say "The rejoining driver was NOT in full control but nevertheless attempted to drive straight back onto the racing line without any consideration for other drivers and contact was made." I think Cookie did recognise that Andreas was there but wobbled as he rejoined. So only 1 place penalty. He gets the other place back for a Red Zone incident :(

UKGPL Season 24 Extra Trophy (69X)
Race 8 Bridgehampton

Welcome to the eighth round of the Extra Trophy for 69 Extra chassis. Bridgehampton. Not one we have used much. The circuit opened in 1957, following a series of road races held from 1949 until 1953. It was one of the first permanent road racing venues in the United States, opening after Thompson Speedway, two years after Road America, the year after Watkins Glen International, and the same year as Lime Rock Park and Laguna Seca Raceway. In its early years, Bridgehampton was host to major international series, including the World Sportscar Championship, Can-Am, and NASCAR Grand National. By the early 1970s, the track was used mostly for amateur events, and closed permanently in 1998.

The first lap will be fully moderated within the red zone. The red zone will extend to the exit of turn 11 ('the Light Bulb')

In line with 'In-Series' penalties, Piero Mercaldo is excluded from qualifying for the next race he enters.

Please check the Season 24 pages for details regarding rules and the Extra Trophy pages in particular.

It is very important that drivers are FULLY familiar with the rules relating to Shift-R. ONLY ONE IS ALLOWED and a Shift-R MUST be followed by a Stop-and-Go or the driver will be excluded. Any driver taking multiple resets will be excluded.

If two servers are required they will be as below but if only one grid is required, we will race on T7.

You try waving your arms about while leading, and you might also look like an idiot!  Tongue

And tonight's big question is . . .  one grid or two?

TWO, of course!

On this bumpy track it's hard to keep the car on the tarmac, so no extra thrill needed...

Did you try entering from in game via multiplayer, using the IP address?   And you are in dire straights, if even your straights are dire.  I'm hoping to do or dire, if arm waving gets me password in time. :'(

I think the real problem is the team manager who recently passed the insanity test with flying colors (mostly green)  Roll Eyes
