Did anyone see T.O.R.A. sim racing on Motors TV??

I was stunned to see a whole programme of sim racing on a TV channel dedicated to motor racing last night.

Ok, so it was x-box based Forza, I think, but was just as engaging as watching some of the processional Real Life racing we get these days.

With 2 commentators ( I think they were real and not muppets lol )and good use of the various camera angles it made the races quite watchable around a sun bleached Sebring.

Maybe sim racing on TV is the future? after all it would solve the problem of development budgets that plague modern F1 and would open up the sport to many more competitors.

I caught a bit of one a week or two back, from Hockenheim. I've also seen a program that cover some iRacing stuff.

Years ago there was 3D Motors a program that was a magazine of computer racing (PC and Console)

Yeah, saw some Road America footage, assumed it was GTR2 with updated textures. Had an annoying stutter which ruined it for me, plus the constant camera movements. Commentary was interesting though.

Interesting!  Although,  I'm admittedly unlikely to watch every event.

But from consulting Digiguide,  looks as if the immediate/upcoming schedule for MotorsTV is:
