Is PnG nowadays more GTR or more GTL?

I'd say the 70's cars are more GTR, whilst the 60's cars are more GTL (but far better in both cases)  Smiley

And how many of todays GTL mods have you first hand experience of?

Suggest you keep your opinions to yourself unless you can back them up with some relevance and not some dated, hard wired, reflex.

The "Chrome Horn" is included. But it will be hard to make friends if you use it.

Ofcourse but selfguided missiles (pretty rudimentary) are reserved only for IMSA BMW ...  laugh

Joke aside this is the only thing (game, mod for whatever platform) where 911 is so close to real 911 ... not speaking about new watercooled with tone of electronics (99% for correcting driving errors) causing to real car starts to look like pc game.

btw - bok sused

Where the heck is Keimola?  Huh  Dont think ive ever raced there, nor heard of it!

Are you sure you're not ready to join team oldie, your memory suggests otherwise.... See below from the last time we raced here lol:

Never blinking heard of it ?  Huh
Because you're not old enough Grin

You might want to mute the dodgy Eurorock soundtrack.
blimey, been following motor racing for 20 odd years and never heard of that track Huh i see theyve had GP and world sports car racing in the past. Dont know how that never appeared on my radar. Good stuff, always like historic race tracks. Smiley
Though in fairness, you didn't actually do the race in the end.

But he did do this one!!!!

It's here Tom.
http://www.gtlw.co.uk/

Just follow the instructions and when you first start it, AFTER creating your profile, hit the green button on the launcher to patch the FF.

The launcher may throw up a couple of errors on the way in but just OK them and carry on.

Not that bad but not accurate. In P&G, term "to drive Porsche properly" really have sense.

To continue on the Porsche theme, I've just done a few practice laps and the Porsche seems to be the fastest car by a country mile - nearly a second up on the big Alfa which seems to eat its rear tyres within two laps so I don't really want to take that for the race.

Or is it just my style? I seem to like the Porsches most of the time.

Edited to add: in Germany, people used to say that an average Porsche driver would have his front tyres worn before the rears, a moderately good one would have more wear on the rears, and a really good one would wear all fours equally. Based on the learning curve with the P&G Porsches, this seems accurate - first you think they understeer, then you learn about lift-off oversteer, and finally you manage to fine-tune it and get into a four-wheel drift (sometimes ...).

I'm only a second quicker in the Porsche than the TC, and a second quicker in that than the Alfa. I haven't got much of a setup for the Porsche though.
