Moderator's Report

Having watched the first lap I have to conclude that although there are impacts involving massimogt italy I can find no collisions that I can solely blame this driver for creating and certainly none that caused any drivers to lose places. I also observed that the driver himself was hit several times. No drivers have filed incident reports concerning lap 1 and therefore I see no reason to punish massimogt italy.

At Hairpin massimogt italy spins Mark Jonzo causing Mark to to be hit hard by another driver. massimogt italy drives on and fails to wait for Mark Jonzo to pass him.
We take a dim view of this behaviour. The penalty would have been tougher if the victim had filed an incident report.

  • massimogt italy (massimogt)penalty — Caused accident and failed to wait for victim to pass — 2 places lost
For advice only - unreported by victim, so penalty disregarded

At Hairpin massimogt italy is passed by Robiker. At Revolver (the next corner) Robiker is hit and spun by massimogt italy causing Robiker to retire. No other drivers were involved. It is however noted that massimogt italy does wait for Robiker to pass at the cost of many places.

I cant get the track to download for some reason. Gets only part way then cancels out. Tried numerous times  Huh Anywhere else I can grab it?

I had to click on bar on top of screen to allow pop-ups. Then the download started.

EDIT: sorry, just reread your problem. My post probably will not help then.   Embarrassed

There are loads of lights along the grid & they each have a normal "one light red.... two lights red... etc etc till eventually green"

Most helpful as always Tongue, what times are you/others doing then?

Nope, I'll be returning to my usual slot at the back of the grid through minimal practice time. But from experience (in multiple SIM's) this track is prone to more than it's fair share of "rubbing" at a few of the corners, namely T1, the hairpin at the top of the hill lot of the corners right round the track. Never quite understood why Undecided

Only managed to try the Ferrari for a few laps last night, best time was 1.42.9 in race trim. Qually should be a bit quicker with the super-soft white spot tyres.

43s in the 914 after a quick test yestreday; won't be trying anything else.

Just hope the engine lasts as it is easy to mistime a downshift at the end of the back-straight and roast it..

Seems like we need to rattle the begging bowl again guy's. If you enjoy racing here and wish to continue to do so, we need your donations.

I just did my first test in the Pantera and Corvette. Do they carry enough fuel for 22 laps?

I am off to try out the Porsche next.

EDIT: Porsche =  thumbup2

There's only one car to pick now...  Roll Eyes
I'm a bit confused: where can I find / select allowed cars (class?) if I want to create my own race?
