I can't remember the last time I left a track, so annoyed with myself!
Happy enough to start behind, and not interfere with serious points scoring candidates, the cunning plan was to linger there, and pick up the pieces as the debris fell. The one spanner, was Tristan just behind, who I planned to let through as soon as he seemed ready. It happened just past the red zone, lap 1. I decided to go wide up the hill. But it took about 1 second to realize, that's a bad idea on a cobblestone corner! Bailed it, and bailed out - dangerous spot for a guest to park at. It's one of those tracks where you need to know every corner, simply to survive!
Stayed to watch a master class by Hristo - he's quite good. And a great scrap for forth between Andreas and Evil, which ended in tragedy.
All in all, I have to say, the skill level and survival shown at this death trap, are a lot better than I'd expected. Ok, it seems 69x are easier to drive than Can-Ams - (update patch news here :
https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?topic=11568.0 ) but nonetheless, it seems we've a right bunch of showoffs, who've insisted on actually finishing, on one of GPL's toughest tracks. I hate every smug one of you !
