Sound issue

Tonight whilst playing GPL offline my sound suddenly stopped working and also pressing escape would not quit the game. I'm posting this because by pressing Alt+Tab the sound could be restored or stopped and also the escape key worked. Strange.

this happens when gpl loses focus , by that i mean another program has got focus .. usaly something like windows update or a virus killer . best to turn off auto updates for programs before starting gpl and check if there are any actions scheduled to start while racing . also close your browser .
