Moderator's Report

Nothing in the Red Zone. I am aware of an incident between Goran and Natan which I checked but there is clear evidence of warp which is unlucky. Better to report these though so that Client replays can be submitted.

Server replay time: 0h10m00s

Natan uses Clive's overtake of Ronnie to get alongside at Masta. Three abreast here is not a good idea and Ronnie sensibly backs out. Dean is keeping a watching brief. Clive is a little clumsy and clips the armco which bounces him back into the track, meanwhile Natan simply takes the racing line. Problem is that Clive is already on it.

It was Natan's responsibility to keep to his own side of the track until he had a clear pass. Here he simply steers across Clive's line. This was never going to work without Natan slowing and maintaining his line which would have compromised the pass.

The rules have this: "In a corner, after a legitimate overtaking attempt the cars end up side by side. One driver moves over instead of staying on their own side of the track. Contact is made. Penalty for driver that moves over."

Natan makes a clear movement of the wheel to move his car right. He should not have done so.

UKGPL Season 25 - Pro Trophy - Race 1 - Spa

Spa Francorchamps 67 ( papy) winds through the Belgian countryside and offers some unique challenges for the driver. Eau Rouge, Malmedy and Masta where both car and driver can gain time or suffer serious damage by being just slightly offline. Long straights favour the faster cars but there are enough corners for the more nimble to stay in the hunt.

As the senior division with the best drivers, drivers have a free chassis choice.
Once a chassis is selected, a driver should stay in that chassis for ALL races.
There will be no other handicapping for this series.

There will be full moderation of lap one Red Zone and reported incidents for the rest of the race.
Please submit incident reports within a week after the race so that the moderators report may be out before the next race.
Full time drivers have priority access to the server until 21.00 UK time.

Please restrict chat to pit messages including at the end of the race until ALL drivers still racing have crossed the line.

Yeah, 3 wide into Masta is always a great plan. Flying Honda made me into a tricycle lap 2.  Angry

Tough race tonight with many not making it to the flag. Regardless, as well as the usual suspects, well done to Andy, Ross and Fran on their Pro debut.

OK, Natan, now when I have looked at the server replay I see what you mean, BUT from my car I saw nothing other than you disappearing.

So it was some kind of strange GPL online trick. I did not see you and I did not feel anyting in my car and when I look at my replay what I noticed is that at the time of the impact there is only me on the track.

So, for what I did in your perspective, and what I would never have done if I had seen you, I am sorry. But based on the circumstances, what could I have done?

Other than that I was the winner of a race that meant disaster for a lot of drivers and you all have two races to drop so I guess the rest of the season will be quite different.

Again I was lucky passing spinning cars. had a long nice fight with gøran and Natan until The misfortune of gøran and Natan having a clinch. I managed to get back to gørans tail with three laps to go and I was aiming for a win . Around now I saw we were 1 st and second and I didn t really understand why. I planned to pass him on straight and hold inside last straighthopefully being able to cut in first with my BRM engine, but I went wide and gøran passed me easily on last straight. Gutted but still very pleased with 2 nd. Feel sorry for you Natan you deserved a position among us.

Grats Podium!

Well I made a stupid beginners mistake following Tristan too close into Malmedy, where he had a wobble.
My sudden lifting, to avoid rearending, made me loosing grip and I was caught by the fences...

Shame, this could have become a great finish  Roll Eyes

good battle with Evil and later with Cookie , but I was victim of lags and less FPS by momments.....after Cookie crash I was lonely ahead but I got 0.5s lag in L 'Eau Rouge   Shocked ....can't avoid the bank on the left....then back on track and hit the fence on the right and lost a wheel Undecided

As expected the last position is mine.I have accumulated delay in the 2 first laps due to 2 error. The disco i think was due to an automatic download of my PC  with a restart, but all was under the image of the track.

well done to Andy, Ross and Fran on their Pro debut.
Thanks :-)

It was all change for the new season.  A move from the Novice/Inter from last season, a Move from the BRM to the Brabham BT11, and a new Team to collect points for.

Notwithstanding my lack of pace, I'd hoped to start as far back as possible, so qualified with only a single proper timed lap with about 8 laps of fuel in the car, I for a 3.39.6, which wasn't far from the midfield.

The tricky downhill start saw me so concerned about not rolling forward, I forgot to put the car in gear.  Nearly blew my engine off the line  Roll Eyes , but got away with it.  That saw me dead last.

From there really, it was picking up places through others misfortune, but I was still pretty pleased with overall pace.  Finished the race with 8 or 9 Gallons on board, so need to sort out some fuel calculations for next time.

I know some of the quick guys had issues, but to finish 25secs off the lead, and 20secs from a podium was a decent result.

With Andy just ahead of me, our team points haul saw us start the season at the top of the table after round 1.....only one way to go from here  Tongue
