The first fun race of the 2013 summer break, at the true home of the big GT's..
It is the real LM weekend so we do Le Mans, on the famous Sarthe circuit.

We race the 67 version of the track with the full Mulsanne straight. No "micky mouse" chicanes just pedal to the metal blast through the French countryside in cars that were designed and built just to win this 24hr endurance race.

A double header, as we do it twice: with GTs on Friday and CanAms on Sunday.

We will run Intermediate Damage with the allowance of unlimited shift-R resets. A Shift-R (fault or not) MUST be followed by a Stop & Go.
You have a free car choice!

We use the 60fps patch
- 60fpsV1 for the GT mod
- 60fpsV2newmod for the CA71

Race List =   IGOR

GLA and have FUN

is crap, thats £50 i'll never see again, 2 axis and heavy steering resistance. paddles are nice tho. and the fezza swich is a fake, is only goes left one or right one "click", and springs back to center, look left or right is only use.

Only if people use "historic" PCs...

I race both mods with Funliga every week and nobody has problems with 60fps patch!
My LCD monitor has 60fps so it is way smoother for the eyes  Roll Eyes

I really can't get on with the 60 fps at all - doesn't look any better for me and it is a right pain joining 36fps. This is one brrr patch that leaves me cold Wink

<SNIP!>... and it is a right pain joining 36fps.  <SNIP!>

eh?
I'm not an authority on this, but it's just a case of then deselecting the 60fps checkbox in GEM+....?

To use 60fps, I used to delete the .exe, and rebuild every time using GEM+.  Nowadays I keep 2 .exe, rename ONE and use the other.  gplcgt___36  gplcgt___60 = gplcgt  It's not good, but 60fps is unfinished, and not entirely user friendly. Undecided

Uhm, I just select it from GEM+ for the player/mod combo I want to use it and that's all.

Grats to the podium of the GT race!

Sorry but I messed the replay, so no import possible...

Even Skymole has a driveable CanAm with 60fps with his old laptop!!!

I just manage it in GEM+ once or twice a week and let it overwrite Tongue

Im glad that your having smooth fun, any chance that us with old computers can come and play as well, im sure the benifit to your gameplay is enourmous but with 60 fps we cannot play at all.  ban

I just made a test...

My historic HW ~ 10 years old

Athlon XP 1800+ @2000MHz
1,5 GB DDR RAM
ATI Radeon 9800SE 128MB RAM!!!
AN35_AMD MoBo

LeMans with GT and CanAm with 15 AI
pretty constant 60fps lowest ~ 54fps !!!

The GT mod needs more CPU than the CanAm mod!!!

First GT than CA

it runs fin 99% of the time, but it only take 1% to ruin a race. when the flag drops i get 1fps for the first 3 seconds and every so often it drops to 1 fps or stalls for a few seconds.

I think my hardware is in a different league of oldness.
AMD sempron 3gig with 1.5gig ram and a ATI radion 1150. i think a newer card would help Roll Eyes. installing everything on a new machine would be ahugh pain in th ass. Undecided
