Season 25 – Formula 2 Trophy

Another full season for the 1967 Formula 2 cars. As in season 24 we will split drivers between Light and Heavy divisions.

Faster drivers should select the LIGHT option. We reserve the right to move you into the correct division

The races will be run as follows:

Car set: F2 Mod
Date: Every second Sunday from 14th July 2013
Time: 9:00pm UK Time (Approx 30 mins practice, race starts at 9:30pm)
Race Length: Long
Damage Model:  Intermediate
Server(s): UKGPL_T7_2 and UKGPL3
Race List: IGOR

Only one Reset is allowed per race.

The provisional calendar may be changed at the discretion of the Divisional Moderator.

Handicapping
Races 1 to 3 have a free choice of car. From Race 3 the following will apply.

Handicaps will be limited to the top 5 drivers in the Championship.
Group I - Ferrari or BT14 = 1st place driver if 30 points ahead
Group II - Cooper = 1st place driver, less than 30 points ahead. Or 2nd place or 3rd place if 30 points ahead
Group III - Either Lotus or either Lola = 2nd & 3rd if less than 30 points ahead
Group IV - any chassis other than a Matra - 4th & 5th places
Drivers below fifth place will not be handicapped.
Race ten will NOT be handicapped.

Nice, I think I could bear to make 1 lap at Monaco , 

........... I joined it.......

Hi see some of the Heavies gone up to Lights, i will stay Heavies as prob my times not competitive with lights, and just not consistent, only praccy get if race with F2 challenge ed76 guys.

I think it's fair to say that I've got the GPL bug again after the last race. Should have known better  . Haven't driven these F2 cars that much so this should be an interesting season  .
