Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Power and Glory v3 from:  http://gtlw-blog.flyingpig.info/
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

Too many chicanes for fun hot lapping, but we used this once in Mike Miller's "then and now" series, and it worked quite well for the race.

Can't we have the "then" version?

I hate chicanes!

These cars are "then" as well!

I tried the "then" version first, it was boring, because these cars are not fast enough to make it interesting
IMHO (of course) This one suits the pace of the cars better.

Having just tried the 2 ltr Alfa I can't say that the excitement level is much to write home about as it is!   Tongue

I am confident that you will have more fun in the race Geoff...
Am slowly catching Clive up in years, though I can't afford to retire for a few decades yet.  Grin

As a general request, if anyone has an idea for a race, then PM me, if you spend some time testing
cars you think would run well together, even better. I get some very welcome help from a couple of
people at times, but it does get a bit boring doing everything yourself most of the time.
Often people will complain about the track or cars, and then we have a great race, maybe after
another ten years it will become apparent that I know what I am doing at least most of the time  angel

Not fishing for kind words here, just a genuine request for some ideas that have come from a different
source than what I think will work chef

You join the game from the lobby as usual.
There should be a practice server running at the moment.
Make sure you can connect to that with the practice password.

On Thursday evening at around 19:20 UK time the server will be reset
and then you need to use the race password to join that race.
You seem to be already registered with this forum so that's all you need.

I haven't checked out the track yet, but I think this is another excuse to drive the Escort.

Don't fancy the Mustangs then Chris?   Grin

Shame they didn't fit brakes to them.  The marker boards need to be extended another 200m to be useful!

Well at least you know now if you havent started braking yet that in 200m you are going to miss the corner and enter panic mode Grin

If you brake at "200" table than you are already done with panic mode and entering in apathy mode ...  death

Breaking point is about when you spot in a far far distance something small white that could be boards with some kind of signs, numbers maybe ...  yes
