UKGTR Season 18 Format and Shedule

This is the current plan for season 18. Sorry for taking so long again drivers.

Format:
 -2 Championships. GT1 - Upper sprint and GT2 - Lower sprint.
 -6 Races in each championship, taking place on alternate weekends.
 -40 Minute races.
 -10 min practice and 20 min qualy sessions.
 -Server will be switched over for practice at 8pm UK time.
 -The best 5 results for each driver will be taken from the 6 races.

 08th Sep   Mugello  Lower
 15th Sep   Mugello  Upper

 22nd Sep   Nurbergring    Lower
 29th Sep   Nurbergring    Upper

 06th Oct   Suzuka  Lower
 13th Oct   Suzuka  Upper

 20th Oct   Laguna Seca  Lower
 27th Oct   Laguna Seca  Upper

 03rd Nov   Road America  Lower
 10th Nov   Road America  Upper

I am considering the 09 version of Suzuka. It is available here. Look for the download link on the left under where it says 'SGT SUZUKA V2.5'. It is a 42.3Mb download.

I also had a look for the 09 version of Spa but, I was not able to find it at NoGrip or PilsBierbude.

1) F430 is really underpowered. Guess it's too late / not enough interest to make physics patch? 
2) 6 races should be few enough to stick with one car, right? As a rule?

since when is the F430 underpowered? Been plenty of drivers getting decent results in it before I thought. You've got to used to that Bi-Turbo  

Nice line up of tracks   gutted i'm away for round 1 at Spa  

There is a lovely mod of the 458 Italia, it should be added to the carset    Its a shame we cant use the nice car sets created by the GTLW lot, especially now they stopped doing the big events with them. Ive still got them installed on my pc

Well, MJ, I made some laps with GT2s at Bahrain and needed 20 laps to get under 2.02s in F430. Needed only 1 flaying lap in BiT and from 5 to 15 in other cars. It's underpowered.
Could we switch to race with counted laps instead of time? It's much easier with calculation of fuel and it drops off all custom tracks flaws with race finishing early.

Dito, have wanted this for ages, makes good sence & removes early finishing races as a bonus!

Hmm good point
Some of the tracks will have lap records, that'll save him doing some driving at those events
