lool , sorry for landing on your nose  Grin

Horrible race for me too, I have a problem with my throttle pedal, when I press it, the car doesen't accelerate fluently, the engine reacts as if there was water wixed to fuel ... Probably hardware problem...

It started in practice session, I completely lost focus by trying to find what is the problem, and ofc I did lots of mistakes.

I will try to  fix it tomorrow, I will need to unmount DFGT pedals ...

Good news: Fun race with QS and NS and watching Truetom who had a wagglier tail than the world's happiest dog.

Bad news: Being really bad at setting the car up is no longer an excuse for not winning races, as Pete won the race with the identical setup to me. As I probably already knew, I am just a slow driver.   Sad

Good news: Picnic won the race!!! (Well driven mate)  Grin Grin

Bad news: All this racing has wrecked my knee again so I shall probably have to stop again after this season. Work is not helping atm either and is likely to get worse.

Roll Eyes Not a track for MC12. Being too slow on straight I had to lower the wing. 7 is way too low for it and I really was on / over the limit the whole time. Didn't help the rear tyres either, lol the car just couldn't keep the pace anymore. Grin Have to apologize to QS for the tap (and I think Pete as well?), one good thing is MC12 on brakes, was doing it much later than Corvette. Will stick with this car for the season and try to squeeze it to max to see if it really needs some more power - I think it does.  Wink

One for the memory banks, a very rare win, only my 7th outright win and first ever in GT1 Smiley But boy was it hard work. I made one  running wide entering the long back straight to give 2nd place back to Animal Ed and then having TT all over me like a bad rash. And he soon got past. We swapped places again and I think TT was quicker over a good lap but his waggling tail causes frequent small drops of time allowed me to eek away. Then Apex and AE titanic tussle seemed to resolve with AE getting the lead. Then a mistake had them back together and the 2.5 second gap I couldn't seem to close become 0.5 sec. Apex then pitted! Not sure why and AE went wide at T1 and I had the lead with way too many laps left. I could see H@L slowly closing in and the got really tight on that last lap. The flappy paddles on my shifter sometimes bounce, I change up and it then changes down. This cost me time a couple of times last lap and got me in a muddle on the last lap. That resulted in panic and TT got his nose in front between the chicane and the last corner. Luckily I had the inside and just enough drive to stay in front.

Epic.

I big shout out to Prof who supplied the base setup we used. We had a practice together on Friday eve and tuned it a wee bit but it so much better than the one I used in Mugello. After missing the first race and the car being so bad in the second I was tempted to bin the GT1 class as too hard but now I know I can race over the full distance with a car which handles ok. I was far from quickest over a single lap but the car and other events means it can race to the end.

Back to mediocrity next race I suspect but the champagne last night tasted good Smiley

For many of us today is salary day. As we still have a deficit please consider donating a little towards our running costs. If everyone gave £3 we would back back in the black.
Thanks in advance
