Server was not broadcasting to the lobby, is reset and runniing now. Race reduced by one lap as some cars are marginal on fuel.
Hm.... I dont see how reducing the lenght by one lap makes a difference. If a car can do 19 laps once, surely it can do it twice! Or have I misunderstood something about compulsory pitstop? Stig Matt may mean that one of the cars was close to needing two pit stops due to fuel consumption. By reducing the event by one lap this risk is ruled out.

Yet another pc crash, this one nicely timed just at the end of qually, so no time to get back in before race start.
Have fun.

Had a nice race, a perfect pitstop, was no. 5 and then lost focus for a blink and ended up so deep in the sand, the I couldn't get back on track.
Nice combo Matt :-))

Replay Posted. Results wil have to wait until tommorow, sorry life calls.
Wot Tony said, I was concerned that one of the choices might not have any choice about what lap to pit on and might not have made it with a fast driver.

usually i understand this track. in the first laps, i feel myself so fast!! but when the tod driver came in lobby, my dream was vanished! about 5 second in a lap. this race has been very difficult for me. Too many mistaken, and the left front tyre was burning at 20th lap. after a lot of out of track, i decided to finish the race.
will be better next time. cu

My first race !
It was difficult as i expected. I chose wrong tyres, bcz in practice by using the softest tyres, the right front one was too hot... 2 or 3 mistakes ...
I noticed pit speed limiter doesnt work, is it normal ??

I was dreading this one....one of my bogey tracks and in cars that I always find difficult to drive Decided to go for a long strategy and look after my tyres to avoid changing them which worked quite well for me. Managed to get the jump on John at the pitstop, but he soon caught me and I didn't have enough grip left to put up much of a defence. Good to see some more new faces on the grid Congrats to Otto, Giuseppe and John

What a great event that was, really enjoy a good enduro with these old cars, feels like a proper race with tyres wearing, pit stops and longer distance This track is superb, albeit always a tough challenge and quick to punish getting a wheel off! The cars looked fantastic from my cockpit the choice of US cars on a US track was great. Had a great race and plenty of good battles throughout the grid and a clean smooth pitstop Was catching Jarda at the end for 6th with Ed chasing me hard when I made my only mistake of the race and span with a wheel off the track. That allowed ed through but I was still on for 8th when I ran out of fuel with about 3m to the finish line!! Lost 8th to Syd couldn't roll up the hill ! Bummer to lose 2 spots so late but loved the event anyway. Big congrats to all that finished a tough race and well done Otto and podium

Great race! Contgrats to the Podium. I lost a few places at the start, and that just made the next 12 laps more fun. I finally cleared myself of traffic (Ford Falcons), and then set out to reduce a 20 second deficit to the next car. I boxed a lap early because I figured that I will only have to complete 36 laps. I ran a few fast laps, and I actually erased the 20 second deficit. I followed the car in front a few laps, until he went wide entering the Rainey Curve (Turn 9); very easy to do. Then I went wide in the same corner a few laps later, but was able to maintain a 3 second advantage until the race was over. Whew!
I had lots of fun. I felt a bit like Steve McQueen driving a 60's Mustang through the hills of California.
See you next week, Walter

Despite too many mistakes it was eventful and good race with some nice battles but with some less nice. I will stop there because everything was according to rules but with modern approach ... Plan was to have loong first stint than splash and dash with no tires. Pit stop worked fine but everything else didn`t. For half of race I was on my own and went into mix when others decided to pit ... than made few mistakes (again!!) and everything gained with long stint gone with wind ... and dust. Last few laps I was chasing Mark but couldn`t doo much because my tires was good enough to finish the race but not to attack someone with softer and more fresh tires ...so Mark, thank you for pushing too hard and nice fight around halfway point of race ...

Last night was a great race, great match cars\track even if not easy to get to the bottom of the race. Excellent pole for John, really fast with the Corvette, I'm sorry you had a bad start at the green light, we would certainly have had a nice battle However, Otto and I thank you for your hospitality and we hope to do more races with you. Greetings to all, see you on the track

@mehdi: Pit speed limit is variable. Some tracks there is a pit speed limit, some there is not. The pit speed limiter doesn't work for me, so you have to test it at each track to see if there is a penalty.
