That was very interesting race. Lost several positions at the begining  then tha chase started. About 10 great laps close racing with NPP it was very difficult to pass but somehow it happened. Then I began trying to reach Goldtop and Federico who were attacking each other. Last laps Federico passed Gt and I began chasing him till the end. Thanks everyone for the exciting race  Smiley

Due to technical problems I snapped up last available spot on the grid with only 54 seconds to spare  sweatdrop
I hope I didn't interfere with anybody as I was expecting a full grid at the time I tried to logon.
Great to see so many interest and such a large field. Hope we have enough space with 28 cars on the grid....kind of remembers me of GTL on Thursdays a couple of years ago ...

Watching the replay is a bit difficult because I had upgraded to v3.1 by the time that I watched it and it is difficult to see how much track I was trying to lay claim to as PnG had turned my car into the Mustang Pace Car!!!  Same goes for my exchange of hub caps and door handles earlier on with Geoffers.

I cannot seem to find the replay and the results in the Replay section so I cannot create the Race Report.
What am I doing wrong?

(Nevermind, I was expecting the file at the bottom not at the top  Hit with a wet fish )

Grats to the podium and thanks to Seniordan for the epic Abarth/Mini Battle.

Sorry Alex, my bad. I put the wrong date on the replay file.

No problem Tony, I know you admins have a hard time at the mo..

Thanks for organising these events. Will you be joining us in the future? The Mini is a nice stable car to drive and you are missed on the grid where the organisers have ran out of pretty girls Grin
(sadly I can only do one race a week, would love to try the Scirocco one time  Wink )

Last night great race with good battle  punk
At the green light I got a good start and I can switch back to the pole sitter John. For about half the race I, Otto and John we pushed very close and we swapped positions a few times with integrity
I'm sorry that when John was in front there was a misunderstanding with Otto that he could not avoid touching it.
In the meantime I've gone ahead and I could take a little breath  sweatdrop
In the final laps we saw that John was catching and Otto decided to wait and give the right position  thumbup1
Congratulations to all the riders for the correctness and a special thanks to the staff of SimracingUK for the excellent organization  clap
Greetings to all, see you on the track

Very funny race, as usual with gentlemen drivers.
The right choise of car decided the result of this race, if not mistaken.
Only cortina and alfa's were in good engine conditions. The mini's , the abarth, seems to be slower.

My race: a surprise. Grin

7th position on grid, and with good start i achieved 2 position during the first corners.

than sir geoffers gave me a hard job of chasing him. About 10 laps of close and sane driving.
Just a question for geoffers: did i mistaked on the straight during your attempt overtaking? if so , sorry.
Luckily i managed my car.

For the remaining laps, i managed my 4th position until the end of race

happy for the result and for the funny obviously  Grin

Thanx Otto Legnaro for the tips about the setting he suggested to me!

Great fun last night, hardly anything between Otto, Giuseppe & myself - it made for some great racing thumbup1
Had an unfortunate coming-together with Otto when we tried to go two-wide at the first corner, I rolled and went up the bank blink No-one's fault I think, but it took a while to get back on track. Otto waited on the penultimate lap though, so it's all fine Smiley

Grats to Giuseppe on the win, looking forward to more of the same next week Smiley

No, was all fair Tahander, if anything it was me who nearly bumped you into a spin. Embarrassed

Very good race. Got jumped at the start by Clive & had a bit of a doorhandle moment with him at the start of lap 2. Hope you didn't think it unfair Clive, I couldn't see your car & thought I had made the pass, was really surprised when you bounced off the side of my car  Shocked. I guess you couldn't see me either! That lack of peripheral vision in virtual racing.

Then had several laps in close company with Tahander until I ran wide at T4 & let him past. Followed him closely for the rest of the race but only once got close enough for a passing attempt (see above!). Last few laps were enlivened by John recovering from an 'off', held him off for a 2 or 3 laps but he eventually squeezed past at the end of the back straight.

Congrats to Giuseppe, John & Otto.  clap clap clap

No problem.

I had a good idea where you were and tried to leave space on the right, but not enough.
