Jeez I hope that's a qually time? I just spent an hour doing laps online and felt quite pleased until I saw that time  Sad. Made far less errors than in gt2 though  Smiley

Was also pleased to hear the f1 drivers stating it was an unforgiving circuit tonight, made me feel better  Wink

It was a quali time but my race times on other tracks have been consistantly within 1 sec or so from that i am gonna try soft on the rears for quali instead of mediums see if that helps. I dont think the record is gonna get broken though.

Wasn't expecting much, but turned into a great race as nobody could earn their pass past Prof (I knew I should have run with less wing laugh). Led to a great fun train with us each taking our turn Cool
Once I did get past when Prof made a rare error, I couldn't pull away at all & eventually (start of last lap) both Spanner & Pete who'd hounded me down slipped past.
Good race all

great race no spins or nothing, towards the end I was strugling with my front tyres. I think softs were a bit optomistic. plus I believe that was my first win in the GT classes in a championship race too so yeh happy :-) see you next week folks.

Apologies to all for spoiling your race tonight. Selecting the wrong tyres did not help my race pace.
I think I shall sit out of qualifying for the remaining races this season and enjoy life in my normal place at the back of the grid.

Not sure yet if I'm gonna dump this ****ty car or stick with it just to prove it's ****ty...  Lips Sealed

It's fast through the curves and slow on the straight. So, to make it competitive I have to lower its strong side to make weaker side stronger. Result: ****ty unstable through curves, touchy on brakes and not fast enough on a straight to stick in the slipstream. Who would want to drive a car like this?  no

I had an awful race. Hangover, hot room and Suzuka in a gt1 car just don't mix  Sad
Had about 10 mins of enjoyment on the end of the prof train but then just kept making mistakes and with 5 laps remaining and a 20 second deficit I called it a night and retired as felt rotten. Shame as I love this track but not kind to me in either gt1 or 2  Embarrassed

Hang on Prof, its what made the most fun i've had in GT1's for a long while!

Last minute change to the Aston, hoping it would be more fun than the Lister which for some reason aving joined the race server i struggled to drive. I guess i'm stuck with the Aston now... But having an old setup helped. I dont think i had a moment think during the race. Normally i'm counting down the laps, bored but that was some race queuing up behind Prof.

Brilliant, looking forward to the next one for once!
