The Porsche cars are so much fun in the "S" curve. It is a great track, and I am glad that Pork is on the menu.

There will definately be some pork on the menu, it is not yet certain exactly whether it will be roast with all the trimmings or just pork butties. I am hoping for some 3rd party testing results before the line up is finalised These cars are much more awkward to drive here than at Spa (narrower and nasty kerbs), for me at least, so my times are likely to be even more wayward than usual. Only the RSR is an "easy drive" in my hands EDIT: After results from testing I will leave the cars as they are. There seems to be no clear single faster car, it seems to depend on which suits best. Plainly the normal GT40s are not as fast here as the Gulf, and there is a good spread of times in the Porsches on offer to suit most people.

Long time I didn't race with y'all, mainly because a G25 failure. I would be pleased if I can go back at such a track (I love it ). Are the 906/8 available here ? Still not sure to be free though..

I think that this series belongs in GTR2. There is too much damn grip available! I need big engines and tyres made of cardboard!

Umm This series is meant to be GTR2 but from the "Olden days"
We are getting towards the end of the seasons, until I consult the diaries not sure if this is the last or not, but I need to think of next year's stuff
I am happy to start any new series similar to this year's but something different is also good, I could wade through the posts in each series to see which had the most whinges constructive criticism But some input would be helpfull. It won't be he who shouts loudest but if you say nothing then don't be upset if next year's are not suitable
Luke has been running the GTR2 series for some years now based on a tried and tested format, so we don't have to change anything unless people want to.

I think running it with a different series/class/era each alternate week as you have been doing is the right formula. It caters for everyone and satisfies most persuasions of vintage racing. It's cool knowing one week it's 60's tintops then next might be a lairy 70's GT race. The endurance round was possibly least popular in attendance so how about putting a proper sportscar round in its place using the cars more suited ie GT40's, 906-8, Vette big block etc on big tracks that suit them like Spa, Paul ricard, Suzuka, Sebring Dijon etc. Prob best starting a seperate topic for suggestions though Matt as this race thread will get drowned! Not turned a lap here yet in any of these cars :'( and won't get much chance before Thursday.

My wish for 2014 would be races in small cars, with small engines, on narrow tracks with lots of concrete walls and chicanes. Could be fun to do 2 x 20 min races in a row using reversed grid for the second race. And why not add a mandatory pitstop for both short races? Stig PS. This reply is risky, Capt. Clive might rule me in bad standing :-))

Why not run a series containing multiple classes?

Had a little practice session at Suzuka last night in the 3.0 Porker. I like running at Suzuka so looking forward to it. Today that all changed as I managed to smash my right elbow at work. Sore as hell atm and on ice trying to get the swelling down and some non-painful movement going. S'posed to be racing with WSL tomorrow night but that looks doubtful. I'll make it if I feel up to it.
Can't really comment on the league structure being the noob, the Thursday night sessions are just right for me time wise and I aint bothered which cars are being run, I'll always find something that'll make me smile. I'll leave any decisions to the powers that be.
