Very sorry that we lost Bill & Postal  Sad

Bill, I had a similar problem in the previous race, just with wheelgonekid.  When he joined, I got the flashing screen and unresponsive GTL.  I had to shut down and restart GTL a few times, but somehow it worked out in the end.  You shouldn't have to restart the entire computer though - you can Alt-Tab out of GTL and then shut it down from task manager; that should save you a lot of time, if it happens again.

Edit; Bill: You may have to use Ctrl-Alt-Delete to get out of an unresponsive GTL.  That should give you the blue Windows screen, from where you can start task manager and then shut down GTL.

Cheers,
Erling

Thanks Erling but that was my problem first time I tried Ctrl-Alt-Delete instead of ending the task and closing GTL it went back to the pulsing green screen announcing RogUK was joining.  Only solution was to turn off computer, which meant I had to sort out Win 7 start up before I got PC running again.  Trying to log on to our server twice more was unsuccessful but at least I could close down GTL and go back to Home Page.

Yesterday was an "us day", spent most of morning trying to get logged into my email address without success.   Went to BT for help on "Chat" but was 97th in the queue with 75 minutes average wait time.  Had another go tonight after about 15 minutes found out a BT outage apologies etc but go link to alternative site so now sorted.  Huh Roll Eyes censored

Hence to practice yet for Monday.  Weather good so probably spend most of time until race working and resting.

Started to like this track after a few laps, had some good racing with Tony and Wheel gone Kid. Sorry to have stopped you racing Bill with the entry of my car, have no idea why maybe Tony knows the answer, hope to see you at Aintree.

That's OK Roger, not your fault.  Aircraft industry spends thousands of hours rig testing hardware and software compatibility and still have problems when aircraft gets into service.  Roll Eyes  Expect to be at Aintree CYA.  rockon:
