Following a brief inspection of the Matra's tyre file it does look as if something may well be done to the Modern tyre.

I need to test on my home pc tonight.

Removing the modern compounds from the tyre files would certainly get my vote if this is possible

Nice race for me - nearly without own mistakes - and a nice chase with Tony in identical cars 

Had hard front and soft rear tyres which barely mastered the distance.

Too bad that so many drivers had to leave during first lap.

Difficult question concerning tyres - the T70 has only the choice between hard and soft, the 512 between
vintage, vintage soft and modern compound.
I personally would prefer to delete the modern compound choice - if possible - in order to obtain equal
opportunities, the more as the 917, the 512 and the Matra seem to be the fastest cars anyway.

Looks to become a great series - although I had personal reservations before.

We had a great battle Kurt and the best man won. I foolishly had soft's all round and the front left lasted about half race distance. Think I hit a similar booby trapped hedge as Matt cos it almost killed my engine but I was able to limp around until the last collision with the scenary killed it altogether.

Such a shame that we lost so many too early  .
