Great write up Erling  Cool

@ Clive. No the Cobra pics are nothing wrong. Just the mod creator being lazy and not finishing the job properly.

EDIT: What's bugging me is that you have already raced these cars at two events! So why couldn't you get in at the Nurb? Mystery.

Well not much to add to after the very nice write up of Erling.
Before the race I tried the Alfa which seems to be an angry one even after some tweaks, so decided to take the F512 as I had a setup for it as I needed as much time as possible on learning the track. Got it dialed in ok and found myself in front of the grid as I was one of only 3 who posted a time in qualy.
Got off the line well and had a good first lap, made a slight error and GT was gone. Looked like my setup was still too twitchy as I could not speed up without taking risks.  It was good racing through the forrest with two other great race cars on my tail lap after lap. Nursed the tires as much as possible and I thought I made it when I still could outbrake MJ into T2 in the penultimate lap. Too bad it went all tits up in the final lap (just one too many) the rears where so badly worn it would snap oversteer everywhere. That made me take a quick break for an ice cream, which led Coyote and MJ through. Did a final attempt to regain time lost, but to no avail. Happy to have finished this great and difficult track with this monster of a car. Congrats to the podium.
