Championship Standings here

Grid/server capacity: 28

Practice: ~19:20 (60 mins)
Qualifying: 20:20 (20 mins)
Race: 20:40 (30 laps)

Track: Paul Ricard 1975 (Le Castellet) Download this

Cars allowed: Alfa Romeo Tipo 33-3 Download this, Ferrari 312P Download this, Ferrari 512S Code Lunga Download this, Lola T70 Mk3B/C Download this, Matra Simca MS650 Download this, Porsche 908/2 and 908/03 Download this, Porsche 917K Download this.

Modern tyre fix must be applied to the relevant cars. Full details here

Car restrictions: Two drives maximum per make *. Check your status here. *Drivers may elect to drop one make entirely and add two bonus drives with one other make.

Time of Day Setting: 14:00
Start: STANDING
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal
Pit stops: Not required

Server: simracing.org.uk Monday
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None

Always suspected Tony had a sadistic streak.  After trying these cars on this track, all doubt is removed...  Wink

Just tried this and can't set a time because I'm getting a cut warning at the chicane before the Mistral straight. Same thing every time both on our server and offline. Tried removing flag rules offline which stops the warning message but still won't log any laptimes  Huh

Needless to say, I'm nowhere near the kerbs. Very strange  Sad

Odd, we have raced here before http://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?topic=10172.msg185189#msg185189 with no probs. Maybe I had the track updated?

I'll look into it tonight.

Weird, I haven't had that problem when testing offline, and just tried online with no problems either (aside from my complete incompatibility with the slow sections of this track  Cheesy)

Have used Lola-Maserati, 512 & 917 offline, 512 online (In case it might be car related).

Cheers,
Erling

Tried a couple more cars and still the same. Deleted and re-installed the track including setup folders and HAT file. Still the same. Tried a car at Imola88 to see if some foo had worked its way into my install and all was ok. Went back to Ricard and tried the 88 version and all was ok  Huh

Wondered what the difference was between the 75 and 88 versions of Ricard and then it dawned on me  Embarrassed I think they might need to put some cones out on that right turn just after the pits  Roll Eyes

Sorry to have bothered you, I'll ask nurse to put me back in the window  wheelchair
