Thanks Apex & Prof, very chuffed. Only my second ever UKGTR2 series title & my first since 2009 laugh

Race went perfect, it actually suited me to be behind TT from the start. Knowing Apex was the single driver I had to beat, I made no attempt to do anything but follow TT, as I'm also all to aware that left to my own devices I would no doubt lose focus & spin! clown
So followed TT with just a small gap & actually grew with concern when he had a minor minute & went off, meaning I was through on my own, though at the rate H@L was gaining, it felt like he'd soon be on my bumper. But while TT & H@L fought, I just eeked out the lead, only a couple of minor wobbles on my part as I stayed calm & mentally ticked off the remaining laps.

Dead chuffed, it's been an absolute blast. Great to see a small resurgence of numbers this season, double figers in nearly every race I think? Thanks all for racing, H@L for organising & I look forward to seeing you all next season.

p.s. Season highlight: The GT1 race @Suzuka, where Prof drove excellently, fending off the constant attention of Spanner, myself, MJ, Pete & TT for numerous numerous laps! Awesome/fair close quarters stuff & exactly why I keep racing here. tt1

Grats on the win Legzy, well deserved. Cool
Race was so - so. After the best quali lap I was quite confident as it felt I finally found a good setup (had a bit trouble setting this car Undecided ). Still don't know what caused that first mistake, didn't brake any later than usual, the car just went on. Happened again, same corner. Huh Legzy got through and H@l was just behind. Like Legzy said, we had some close laps with H@l, our pace was more or less the same and we also had the same car, so... More mistakes than skill from both of us Tongue caused some position changing and in the end I was lucky to be able to hold a second position. Tyres were problematic, after the best rubber was off I wasn't able to keep up with Legzy even after H@l fell a bit behind.
Anyhow, thanks all for getting together the decent numbers and skill to have some high quality racing. Can't wait to have more of you. Wink
