Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None

Can't say I'm a fan of this circuit. The sharp turns seem to break the flow but will probably make for some outbraking battles. Anyway car is chosen, now just have to tweak it and hopefully not make it drive worse.

Nissan Skyline No.44 (Blue/green design) Ref No. 442CO has been removed from the server as it was found to cause problems on-line. Feel free to delete it from your installs. If you choose it for a race you will get a "Car not found" message.

2:26?  is that very, fast or what I should be aiming for??   :scared :lol    I notice that you are not divulging which is your chosen wagon and I would not necessarily expect you to Tony.

I usually look above the race post for previous lap records etc to give me a clue about the expected pace, but there are none for this track.

Guess I will just have to pedal as fast as I can for as long as I can  Roll Eyes

BTW I downloaded the offered setup for Geoffer's mini and tried that, thinking that maybe the nimble mini would benefit from all of the hairpins around this track............ Not in my hands!!! I did not complete a single lap  without an "off" or spin, in 20 minutes of trying!!  There must be a knack to getting that mini to perform, and I am going to have to find it soon as somewhere along the line I will have to use the Mini  Undecided

Well it's the fastest time I'm capable of  Cheesy

First time GTL has been here so no previous records but it does mean that someone will set one on Monday night  Wink

I couldn't drive the Mini with it's default setup but found the Geoffers setup to be just about perfect. Odd eh?

I've just started practice, including learning the track. 2:22.8 is my best so far, in a 911S, which is the only car I've tried.

Cheers,

If your struggling you could ask for a setup from the other drivers. I'm sure someone would help you out.
