Just to pre-empt Erling. This is the GP track, 2007 version Thanks Tony, I've now had chance to look at track and select a car. Visitors due any time. staying till Sunday then off on unplanned holiday with she who must be obeyed. Her long term mate, who she has annual late spring holiday with, screwed up dates and double booked, so being a hero I'm substituted for her whilst she holidays with son. Off early Monday morning missing the Le Mans race - hope to race here when I get back if not too knackered.

Slightly under 2:10 in the Commodore 3000, only 2:19 in the Skyline (no suitable setup), but AI does times between 2:04 and 2.06 . However - looking forward to this one - nice and funny track.

Hi guys, looks like i am back for this one. Tried the 911 yesterday which seems quite fast over a single lap, as i managed a 1.08 in it. However it is suffering from a lot of initial understeer and even worse, snap lift-off oversteer which is causing me to spin every other lap. So it needs some tweaks to get it to behave, but possible be slower. Well, to finish first...... Hope to see a nice spread of car makes tonight! P.s. how can i select the other cars and only the ones allowed for this series to be driven by the AI? As i select the car class and all my other (downloaded) cars of this class are then on track also.

You need a third party add-on like Garage Manager or similar which controls which cars can be selected and which cars cannot. I think this is the one I use http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=22345

Nice track combo Tony. About 10 secs off the pace seems to be my benchmark these days – still I enjoy racing and have my moments. New PB in practice, another passing, trying to pass and chasing Kurt. Kurt must have had an big off as I passed him before he could get back up to speed. He passed me and I had a couple of attempts to dive down the inside on consecutive corners only to be re-passed on the inside as he went in wide and cut back with more pace. Good fun, the GP boys wouldn't have been ashamed of those passes.

Grats to Postal on win Grats to Podium
Not fast enough or consistent to compete with the fast drivers but was pleased to get a 2.08+ in the Beamer, lonely race for me gap getting bigger to cars in front and gap to cars behind staying put, after half way my lap times were increasing not improving prob not got knack of setting up car yet. Still like Bill enjoyed the race and these cars are fun to drive.

A somewhat disappointing race for me. Knocked over 1 sec off my offline pb in qualy, landing me 3rd on the grid. A strangely slow start from both Clive & Postal propelled me into the lead - most unusual, as I'm nearly always the one left in the dust at the start. This gave me the opportunity to hold up the fast guys for a few laps, until Postal lost patience and forced a pass. Unfortunately we collided and spun. The tyre smoke was so dense that I absolutely could not see any approaching cars. Didn't dare move, for fear of cutting in front of oncoming cars, and lost a fair few seconds. Still caused Kurt to spin when I finally did move - sorry about that mate Rejoined in 5th behind Roger, whom I later passed again. Couldn't keep pace with Clive, so remained in 4th. Later in the race, as my front grip, motivation and concentration were all slipping, the gap grew - it seemed I went slower and Clive went faster. Only on the last laps, when he had a couple of offs, did I get close again, but nowhere near his pace, so not at all able to mount a challenge. (Ferocious Nissan sound unfortunately wasn't enough to make him loose his composure.. ) Cheers, Erling

Clive and me were in hot pursuit as we followed you guys into Wurth. The smoke was dense and I was convinced I would collect one of you. The replay shows that I had a very, very lucky escape. Thought I might actually win this one! But a mistake by me, also at Wurth, left me crawling out of the kitty litter and Postal took the lead. Never had a hope of catching him after that and the remainder of my race left me trying to fend off Clive's huge motor. I only kept second place due to Clive's mishaps under braking. Great racing and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Monaco next which is one of my least favourite circuits so I don't expect to do so well there.
