(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules. (3) Driver lists can be found on the championship standings page(4) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Bugger, only one version of the track - and I had so looked forward to pester Tony on which version to use.. Is the Fiat turbocharged ? Sounds like there's a wastegate operating when changing gears. Have googled of course, but not found any info, besides the fact that there was a 'civil' supercharged version - but way down on power compared to the one in GTL. Bill, pity you're away, but hope you have a nice trip! Cheers, Erling

Seems like it was used to get Fiat into the WRC. Brief article with nice You Tube clip at the end here http://www.topgear.co.za/news/performance-classic-abarths-131/

Thanks Tony; nice video - reminded about just how insane Portugese spectators were (still are ?).. 131 is a nice, butch Fiat. I'll remind myself they once built cars like this, next time I drive my old, battered Punto wintermobile.. Cheers, Erling

Had a quick blast yesterday and you can certainly tell the Fiat is a rally car and as such is well out of my comfort zone I can see this being an eventful event

I'm sure that only the highest standard of professional driving will prevail (possibly)

Took a lot of practice offline to get my laptimes below 1:16.
Both races were lonely affairs, except for the first few laps. GT predictably on pole, and in front entire race, in race 1. As he did ye olde not qualifying trick for race 2, to have some fun slicing through the field, I managed to snatch pole, with only my 2nd ever lap below 1:15. Didn't take long before GT was behind me, and I only managed to hold him up for little under 2 laps. Rest of the race was lonely. Felt lucky to survive a couple of spins, with one ripping off the front spoiler, without loosing my 2nd place - Tony's & Clive's fastest laptimes were getting too close to my own for comfort.
Grats to GT for the 2 victories.
Liked the track/car combo, so pity that we were so few.
Thanks to Tony as usual for organising.
Cheers, Erling
