(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules. (3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read Autopit="0" Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable. (4) Driver lists can be found on the Championship standings pageSpecial Notes: None

No, you are right, it is the "can-am" variant.
Seems a big gap to this one from the way the others ran, but FWIW a couple of laps in each gives: Roadrunner 2:10.0 Charger 2:11.0
The charger could be good here as it's a power track, but hits the rev limiter on the main straight so doesn't get up to it's top speed.

It's the final round and we are left with the least popular cars to battle it out with. Matt looks favourite to take the top step but I'm sure Erling will not be making it easy for him. There's also a four way battle for the remaining places

The Charger does reach it's top speed here but I find the Plymouth the easier to control. Still cannot decide which to use

grats to the silverware brigade. I really enjoyed the learning curve with these beasts, trying to reign in the temptation to unleash all those horses and shred the tyres in the first 3 laps. Which of course I failed to do in the the first few races with obvious results lol Thanks to Tony for organising and for all the help I received from everyone in getting my act together.

Should be chuffed about winning the Championship, but doesn't feel quite right - it's like I stole it from Matt.. Had he been present, it's almost certain he would have won it. I needed to score at least 8 points more than him to snatch it, and that would seem very unlikely, given that I couldn't even match the laptimes he posted pre-race. Race itself; well I really should have watched the 2nd half of the handball match instead, but needed a few points to make sure Postal didn't steal the Championship I was stealing from Matt.. Embarrassingly far off the pace here, and in total awe of the speed of the front runners. Made another dreadful start, getting jumped by pretty much all who weren't ahead of me already. Chased after Kurt during the first laps, with Roger in close pursuit. Made it past Kurt, when a small off-track excursion resulted in a loss of momentum. Then had him chasing me for a few laps, until he fell off more severely and was replaced by Roger. Slowly built a gap, but that to Postal and Tony was growing faster, so no chance of catching them. Race thus turned rather lonely and uneventful. Only excitement came late in the race, when I put my right rear onto the gravel, when entering the runway, and promptly spun off. Brought Roger 10 secs closer, and those ahead even further out of reach. Grats to the podium; most impressive speed guys! It has been a very fun series; thanks to Tony for organising and to all participants. Cheers, Erling

This one will stand out in my memory as I spent the entire race battling one other driver. Knew that I wouldn't be able to keep up with the Evil one but had high hopes of a podium finish as long as I didn't bin it, which I also knew I was quite capable of doing. After a couple of laps Clive was in the distance and Postal was some way behind me. However lap after lap Postal came closer and closer. Then he was near enough to challenge me in some of the turns where he had the better control and speed, but I had more top speed so I could retake a lost position on that long long straight. This happened a couple of times. What Postal had to do was get enough lead on me so that I wasn't close enough at the beginning of the straight to be able to catch and pass him. Of course he managed to do just that and so for many many laps I had to tail him, hoping he'd make a mistake. Tyres were getting worn and the car was becoming very lairy to control in the tighter turns. Postals lead on me was increasing and it was all I could do to keep him in sight. Then, after the start line, a puff of cloud from somewhere in the esses complex. Someone was off, but was it Postal? As I entered the first turns I saw Postals car over on the right hand side and powered past him. Managed to build up enough time to keep him behind me for the remaining couple of laps although it was very very close on the final lap. Just managed to reach the line before him as a slight contact between us had spun me but Postal being a true gent had waited to let me pass. Great race, great cars too. Really enjoyed that one.
