Moderator's Report

No reported incidents and a clean Red Zone.

Hendy has an off on cold tyres but rejoins safely.

Fine climax to a good season. Well done all.

Hello everybody.

Thank you for letting me in the race, Axel.

I guess I should join the Works division next season? If you need me in the Privateers to increase the number of drivers, that's fine too.

My times at Estoril are a little slow. I drove 7 laps on Dean's practice server and then joined the Privateer practice. Last Sunday was the only time I've driven that track. I drove just enough to see that my Zandvoort setup needed some fine tuning for Estoril.

It looks like whichever division I drive. I'm going to have to learn to drive one of the three cars that cost the least tokens.

I wouldn't be in such a hurry. As Estoril is a rarely-used track (not rarely enough, imo, but that's for another thread  Wink ...), laptimes may not be all that representative of people's overall pace.

I don't mind being a backmarker Dean. In my opinion, the decision whether to drive Works or Privateers would probably be better if left to majority of the members. I don't care. I'm likely to enjoy it whichever division I will drive.

The BIG differentiator between the series is that there are no resets in Works so a high level of skill/conduct is expected. Any mistakes can ruin somebody else's race without a chance of rescuing it...

Pace at the top of Privateers/bottom of Works is often similar. I could never step up even though I got my maiden win because I cannot maintain a level of performance without making mistakes. Even that win was gifted to me when Hendy was forcibly disconnected.
