Reserve drivers can also join as soon as the server becomes available but must leave the server with 35 minutes of qualifying left, for a total of 5 minutes; this will allow any remaining full timers to join. If there is enough space on the grid, the reserve drivers will be able to rejoin when there are 30 mins of qualifying left. Please restrict chat to pit messages including at the end of the race until ALL drivers still racing have crossed the line.Moderating The red zone will be fully moderated for lap 1 only. For this event the red zone will be the first lap up to the exit of the Lesmo2. Other moderation will be on reported incidents only. However any incidents that occur in the red zone that are not reported by the drivers will be reported by the moderator. This will allow all affected drivers the opportunity to present their case before the incident is moderated. This should ensure there are no surprises when the moderator's report is published and hence appeals will be less likely. If you haven't received a PM about an incident before the link below the results table is removed, you can be sure that you will not appear in the moderator's report.

Hopefully no extra time tonight, straight on with it. Though I make no guarantees as to my sobriety Edit. it is not possible to turn up half cut with no prac, even on the well known track, and finish. I over corrected into a lesmo and the rail thanked me with a wheel off. ill get my mojo back! thanks to mods.

Quiet race, consistent 38s but littered with minor errors. No chance to catch anybody really, so all I can say is congrats to the trio who finished within a second of each other at the front.

Everyone knows that million-to-one chances happen 9 times out of 10. Why the hell do I keep crashing then?!

Bloody T1 AGAIN
Looks like Uli went into Ronnie and caused some bent metal. I was in amongst some guys that slowed and tried to avoid it by moving right. I got hit by Natan. Will be interested to hear his side of it, looked to me like he moved right, but didn't slow.
Whatever happened, the car felt wrong, and I never matched the times I got in qually. Was frustrating to be the same distance behind Jethro for most of the race knowing I could not catch him. The car was great in the corners, I was much quicker through them than Doni and nHance when I was racing them (even passsed nHance through Curva Grande!!), but on the straight everyone was faster (ignoring draft).
First three over the line were an impressive 0.15 seconds apart, which must have been quite exciting for all concerned. Well done to all three (and also wd to Cookie who went -ve on 67s the other day).

Quali went as planned, working together with Axel, and that got me pole However, in the race it seemed my gearings were slightly too tall, trying to get away with not using 2nd as well. Had a reasonable start and was able to lead initially, but saw a few cars crash, hope it wasn't due to me... Dropped down the order in the lead draft, but that was OK for me, was expecting a few cars to crash the way they raced, but somehow everyone kept a cool head. Then had a brain fart, and lost the lead draft into Para. Then I raced Natan and Clutch for a while for P5, and when Dean went off a couple laps for the finish, that handed me P4 when Clutch had lost a gear. Some good racing going on, very clean and fair Disappointed that my gearings didn't work out, when I had the same in quali, they were good for drafting, but not for clean air. Again a mistake, however pleased I was able to get back to P4 Again congrats Uli and podium!

Yeah, Robert, but psssst My best ever Monza race! 32 laps wheel to wheel with up to 5 racers all clean and fair driving! I only know that feeling of my former career in RC-Car racing, when you have the total trust in what you are doing... Several Lesmos and Paras side by side, reacting on smallest moves of the others Look at the GPLRA report of lead changes: LEADERS
Driver Laps Robert Fleurke 1 Axel Cookie 2-5 Uli Hofmann 1965 6-7 Axel Cookie 8-9 C Clutch65 10 Dean Logan_65 11 Tristan Bot 12-13 Uli Hofmann 1965 14-15 Tristan Bot 16 Uli Hofmann 1965 17-18 Tristan Bot 19 Uli Hofmann 1965 20-22 Axel Cookie 23 Uli Hofmann 1965 24 Axel Cookie 25-26 Uli Hofmann 1965 27-29 Axel Cookie 30 Uli Hofmann 1965 31-32
Number of lead changes: 17 Number of leaders: 6 Thanks Uli, Tris, Dean and Clutch for this great fight

Monza - Surely a 'must' for every UKGPL season. I've had some terrible online races in the last few seasons but Monza is always good fun and restores my faith everytime. Managed to hang with the leaders, and even lead, during the first 10 laps or so. Everyone was completely fair, early breaking, space given..etc, but man, it was tight at times. Thats the beauty of drafting at Monza though, you can sit there in a group and watch the race unfold. Had a good race with Cookie for the lead, but had to brake on the inside for Parabolica which i'm never too good at and as we both struggled to get the power down our front wheels touched. No harm done, though Cookie lost a couple of seconds. Next lap, and i put a couple of wheels in the sand at Parabolica and allowed Cookie back through. I knew i had to get him within 2 laps if i could get the tow, otherwise he'd be gone, getting the tow from the group in front - as it ended up, i lost 1/2 a second or more and that was enough for him to get clear and join the others ahead, no hard feelings and glad he was able to take it rightful position at the front. After that, it became clear that not running in a group was costing me about a second a lap, and new over-heating issues with my left front, were causing the car to under-steer a lot (possible after the tap with Cookie, possibly due to the balance changing as the car got lighter, or just a poor set-up). Robert was catching me bit by bit and i awaited his arrival to see if we could draft togther and dent the leaders 10+ second lead. As it turned out we couldn't and we both resigned ourselves to fighting for 5th. The racing was clean and fair and great fun, and i even gave Robert the odd raised arm as he came through as we swapped positions. As it is, i missed gear on the start/finish line with 1 lap to go, gave him 1 second on me and it was too much, though he was a lot quicker into Parabolica than me so it was always going to be his position on the last lap. Well done to the top 3, great clean racing which kept my Pribluda busy as i trailed in 5th. Well done to Robert on his Drive and thanks for the battle. Great fun. Also well done to Cookie for fighting back after our tap at Parabolica. All UKGPL needs now is a urine sample from Gareth do determine how 'half cut' he was driving at 160+ mph in Italy, unless he's passed out at the back of the pits? Surely GPL is difficult enough!!

Was a 50:50 imo, I heard you earlier braking/lifting and cut in a little too much The server replay shows only a little contact of our rear tyres when your back stepped out I couldn't resist and watched the whole replay Perfect and allways fair driving from all participants!!! Shame that Ronnie was lost in T1

...Perfect and allways fair driving from all participants!!!... Almost... there were a couple of very near misses from people not checking their blind spot before moving across track (chasing a draft, usually). I need a new race chair. My butt went to sleep with a couple of laps to go, podium or even a win was possible until that, but controlling these things at that pace with numb legs... Grats to podium, and thanks for a fun one!

Doh!!!! looks like I missed out on some fantastic 65 racing with you guys But just so that you all feel guilty , I got lost in a pile of catch up moderating for the Friday races and totally missed the time ticking past until about 9:45.....too late My chosen BRM might have been a good choice for Monza, but only if it got onto the grid!!! ah well always next time.

Avoided the turn 1 crash but Gareth passed me but I had to back off at Lesmo1 as he was all over the place. He did it again at Parabolica & I made the fatal error of being mesmerised watching him I went off. Resumed in last place but after a few laps caught the Doni/Arf battle & passed them both. They weren't finished, oh No!. We swopped places a bit. Funny I mentioned to Clutch after the race I had to admire Arf's outside line at Curva Grande but it was his pass on the inside at Lesmo2 that at the time made me say out loud "you must be joking". Saw him coming, gave him room felt sure he would crash but he didn't. This was the best part of the race but Doni's Honda has the aerodynamics of a brick so he would zoom up in the tow, pull out, but couldn't make the pass. Still we all gave each other room it was good but I think realistically we were slower than if we had run round line astern behind Arf maybe we just might have made progress to the group in front but you can't do that when someone s trying to pass you all the time. I didn't want to be last in line in case Arf left Doni. Just after half way as Arf looked as though he was leaving us I spun out giving a gap of 9 seconds to Doni. With 4 laps to go I caught & passed him but Arf was 8 seconds up the road & cruising. Anyway well done to the podium & especially my team mate Clutch for his first points of the season. Leading at one point apparantly. Must diary that. I enjoyed it so on to the next one. Norm H

Shame that Ronnie was lost in T1 I have to agree having seen your pics and the results. An unfortunate coming together with Uli saw my race ended but these things can happen and I was glad to see him up and running and even going on to a tightly fought victory. Grats to the podium of Uli, Axl and Tristan.
