Hi everybody,

Some of you probably know me, because of my website Archeoskins or because of endurance race we participate (24H Sakhir, 24H Spa...)

Few months ago, I started to work with a new international league named ISR-Series. Perhaps you'll recognize some names like Joeri Blootaker or Ron Bartsch, because the new league is the merging of two leagues, BeRacing and RacingLeague.nl with most of Belgium and Netherland drivers.
I worked on a mod that I called GTE with a mix of GT2 and GT3 cars with new graphics and physics. This championship started in october 2013 and will end march 2014. There are still 3 races to run : Brno the 3 march, Istanbul the 17 march and Spa the 31 march. The registration for this championship is FREE and everybody is welcome. You can enter the championship right now if you want.
Some pictures of the cars :

etc...

We are also working on a future championship that will start in April. For this championship, we'll use some "special" cars, the old Group C with Sauber C9, Porsche 962, Jaguar XJR-12, etc...

That will be fun and I think you could appreciate. I can give you further informations, just ask me.

We expect to run an international championship and I hope that will enjoy you.

Cya

Sounds interesting, especially as we've had just 5 drivers per race since November :'(

On which days are the races? At what time? How long is the race? Qualifications? Weather changing or stable, rain or dry? Fuel, tyre consumption? All this I'd like to know. Smiley After 10 years+ of racing in GTR2 I became picky ... but would not miss the challenge of a new championship with more players. Smiley I expect the quality level of racing is on highest level? Cool

Races are on monday. Next race is march, 3rd on Brno, for 75mn.
Time schedule is this one :
Practice: 19h00 - 20h30
Qualification: 20h30 - 20h50
Warmup: 20h50 - 21h00
Race:   21h00 - 22h15

This will be a little bit different for the last race because we will drive 120 mn :
Practice: 19h00 - 20h30
Qualification: 20h30 - 20h40
Warmup: 20h40 - 20h45
Race:   20h45 - 22h45

All times in CET (Central ,European Time) = GMT+1

Actually, we use a fixed meteo definied before the start of the prequalification. Informations are in the race topic : http://www.isr-series.com/index.php/forum/season-1-gt/124-isr-gt-race-10-brno
Here are the conditions we had (or will have) :
Passed races
Valencia : 15°C ambiant / 10% humidity
Magny-Cours : 11°C ambiant / 82% humidity
Road America : 22° ambiant / 47% humidity
Estoril : 17° ambiant / 61% humidity
Dubaï : 27° ambiant / 14% humidity
Suzuka : 19° ambiant / 58% humidity
Donington : 8° ambiant / 90% humidity
Watkins Glen : 24° ambiant / 35% humidity
Sepang : 31° ambiant / 66% humidity
Races to come
Brno : 21° ambiant / 29% humidity
Istanbul : 26° ambiant / 33% humidity
Spa-Francorchamps : 13° ambiant / 42% humidity

You know the work I made for most of GTWeb endurances races, car's performances are adjusted, including tire wear and fuel consumption.

Just try some laps on the server and compare your times to actual best laptimes : http://www.isr-series.com/index.php/series/gt-series/gt-pre-quali
I think that you'll find the level high enough  Wink

don't know how I missed this thread. The cars look fantastic and sounds a great series but with 75min races as well as qually and practise I would struggle to commit to it on a weekday sadly  :'( Certainly couldn't do a 2hr one during the week.. The missus would divorce me!

Will see if I can make some though.  Wink

That group C mod looks very tasty too  Cool

Viewing the forum I saw you have to register with a full name, not nick? Do you need to enter a team or can you be a free rider?

Yes, we all use our real names (archeo => Arnaud Dumas). You can join this end of championship without entering a team  Wink

Hmm, synchronization for 5 min and going?  Undecided

Edit:
No, not working. Have no cars installed and when I try again is says "the file 1-ISR_GT_Skinpack is opened in WinSCP: SFTP, FTP and SCP Client".

Might be 'cause I recently set new system disk and didn't reinstall GTR 'cause it works. Undecided

You can try to decompress this in your GTR2 install : http://s163435005.onlinehome.fr/ftp/ISR-GTE.rar
