hi guys, recently signed up....bit of a noob and need help with the faster cars...are there any setups that make driving them easier, i realise that it would sacrifice speed but i'm too raw to be driving edgy cars...any help on the setup areas would be appreciated, just looking for a stable setup to get me lapping consistantly...cheers!

Hello  Smiley

I don't spend much time on setups. My usual approach to a new car is to adjust dampers, ARBs and springs to middle values and drive a few laps. If the car feels sluggish, I stiffen it up by raising those values. If it feels too lively, I lower them.

Applying camber will help in corners but too much can often make cars unpredictable. Increasing coast can help if you find that you're spinning on corner entry.

A quick check of tyre temps to get them balanced across the width (middle of tyre within a few degrees of outer- and inner+ ) and I'm done. In case you've not discovered it yet, xd is a good tool for monitoring tyres/fuel etc on the fly.
