Moderator's Report

No reported incidents.

Drivers are reminded that they MUST take the same chassis. I have simply made Dean a guest for this race, so this is one of the dropped scores.

Server replay time: 0h01m10s

Ronnie gets a great start and passes Uli on the way into Curva Grande. He takes quite a tight line and as Uli slides wide they touch. Catastrophic for Mr Peterson. Behind ArfArfArf takes avoiding action thinking that Ronnie will spin across the track and tags Natan. Colin spins out.

Ronnie could (and for self-preservation, should) have stayed wider - Uli was always going to slide across - but Uli could have helped by maintaining a tighter line. Arf^3 could also have maintained his line. Understandable reaction though. Unfortunate.

Just a sneak in Parabolica  Grin

That was too close Roll Eyes

It was close Cookie, but more my fault than yours. agreed though, 50/50 and we all got away with it in the end. No problem from my end.

Fantastic driving all round i thought. A real credit to 'Pro 65' racing.

At practice I made again a new "real" (without slipstream) personal besttime and was only third on the grid but this time I was the lucky winner – my first win in the UK-GPL Leaque, smells funny Smiley.
WHAT A RACE!
GRATS to Axel and Tristan, big hand to you.
But at first I had to apologize me – SRY Ronnie, it was very close and risky but not what I want. I'm very sorry Ronnie for your bad luck in this situation but surprised that I had much more luck - had no time to think about it in the race …. I'm very sorry that I couldn‘t control my car better …
My second big fault was the situation with Dean. I pushed aside Dean at the start/finish straight. You are truly wright when you told this in the chatroom. I‘m sorry Dean to see that in the replay. I didn‘t notice it at all in the race – but believe me I didn‘t see you in the mirror and didn‘t hear you.
This prob that I didn‘t hear cars beside me I had often! GPL bug? You could not look beside in every situation, especially when you fighting with six other drivers at the same time Wink .
WHAT A RACE!
A dream come true. Fantastic that a slipstream battle lasts until the checked flag drops – never saw this before with so much drivers! At the beginning in a group of six!
GRATS and THX to Axel, Tristan, Dean, Robert and Clutch – fantastic racing! I‘m very sad that Ronnie was not at that. I‘m sure he and his BRM had a good chance …
Special THX to Axel and Tristan, fantastic clean maneuvers. NEVER saw a closer finish – and I finished more than 300 races!
But it‘s not only the result who makes me happy, it‘s more the fair and close fighting and unbelievable 17 lead changes! let‘s go on Smiley
WHAT A RACE!
Shame that I make this two faults. It‘s a bit mortifying to a winner …
Looking forward to Laguna Seca

Hej Ronnie,
very generous and gentle, like a real champion, next time I try to make it better, I promise it  Grin

Some years ago, when I was Race Commissioner in the EOLC League (EuropeanOnlineChallenge/http://www.eolc.de/only GPL67-League) I would evaluate such a situation simply like this:
"Uli causing a collision, and he did it in the startzone"
If it will have consequences, no prob for me, it‘s just correct …

But that was only one fact (truly an important) of the race.
Much more I‘m still impressed by the fantastic fights with you all - Axel, Tris, Dean, Robert, …!!!
We all mad little mistakes (only tiny irregularities) who went well. For example I remember a situation when a Lotus in front of me (in Lesmo 1) surprisingly breaks a little bit earlyer than I expected – I‘m still proud not touching him (sweat on the forehead), and so on …
a lot of close, exciting, great racing  Grin
let‘ do it again!!
Such races are rare, I know but let‘s try – I‘m just high of it
and full of joy to race with you all again!!

cu next race

Uh, I just realized I forgot about the same chassis for all races rule, and took the Ferrari after using Lotus the first two rounds. :slaphead:

It didn't go unnoticed, Dean.  Not even on the day...

What penalties you'll face for the transgression are up to the mods before the next round at Laguna Seca.
