Doni & Arf contest a position into T1. Arf is behind but gains some momentum. Arf would have been in Doni's blind spot & Doni did no more than take a normal line. Arf could have conceded the corner & Doni could perhaps have taken a wider line.
Under the rules, the overtaking car had NOT achieved a 50% or greater overlap at the point of turn-in. There was no loss of control by either driver. 1 place penalty for overtaking driver, plus 1 lap 1.
Dean & Marco are unfortunate victims of the aftermath.

Server replay time: 0h02m38s

Doni & Arf contest T1 again on lap 2. This time Arf loses control & Doni can't avoid the sideways car.

Moderator's Report

Red zone is clean,

Server replay time: 0h37m25s

Phil overtakes Roberto T. He brakes late in the corner to complete the move & Phil's rear end gets a bit sideways which appears to distract Roberto. Roberto loses control under braking & crashes out. Phil had completed a clean pass & there was no contact between the cars. Racing incident.

Server replay time: 0h40m10s

Bernie takes a Reset on the final lap. For most tracks it isn't possible to take a Stop & Go on the final lap, so a standard 15 Secs time penalty is applied.

Please can you confirm if I am handicapped Billy as I don't have a 30 point margin over 4th place? Also why is the car handicapping different between Group A and B anyway? Plus any news on the moderation from Spa just in case this affects any handicapping?

Ronnie,
Handicaps are as follows (apart from removing the handicap for 4th & 5th because we are running two medium size rather than one full grid. This applies for all of Season 26).
Group I - Ferrari or BT14 = 1st place driver if 30 points ahead
Group II - Cooper = 1st place driver, less than 30 points ahead. Or 2nd place or 3rd place if 30 points ahead
Group III - Either Lotus or either Lola = 2nd & 3rd if less than 30 points ahead

You are in 3rd place but less than 30 points ahead.

The handicap is different between Grid A & B because of the points difference between the drivers.

Thanks Bill, looking forward to drive a slower chassis' and getting in the mix, also looking forward to learn a new track, and looking forward to have consistent FPS, as I think/hope my overheating CPU was the culprit... Smiley

Average lap time of 90 seconds, works out around 37 minutes. I expect this to be over with by 35 minutes as those quick enough will be comfortably below 90 seconds a lap. However it depends whether those survive! Wink Grin

At 25 laps its sure to be short for those that survive as you rightly point out. But I thought the fun race was on Fridays  laugh laugh laugh

I've put on some stiffer springs, slightly bigger bumprubbers and one click more on the bump (than normally), in order not to bottom out in the corner May, even when you steer in too late and miss the apex/line. Maybe it helps some.

Racelength has been mostly 37-40mins so far in F2 this season, 25 laps here will mean about 36-37mins, rules say about 40mins. So 25 laps here is not incredibly short or so Wink

I've found the F2 races to be the most fun this season, so am looking forward to this one! I enjoy the circuit, it suits my style, and I just need to get the setup to my liking so I can push it a bit further.

Would someone please do the kind thing and put a bullet into the GridA server?  Thanks.

Disco'd just past half distance.  Saw my Latency and Quality bars rising slowly over the course of a lap or so then...

And if you a spare cartridge, you might want to put it into Frank.  Sad

I didn't see any stutter at all tonight Doni...

Doni and I had an interesting first couple of laps. At T1 we came together and both ended up dead last. Its obviously one for the mods, but I felt that Doni came into me, as I had taken a tight line into the bend as we were alongside each other....then as we came into T1 for the second time Doni and I had caught up with the back of the pack. Marco ahead of me had a moment and I tried to take avoiding action. This only served to unbalance the car and I went sideways, and Doni probably had nowhere to go....This time I ended up upside down, so had a nervous rest of the race, as I wasn't convinced I'd set the gearing properly and was just waiting for the engine to pop...

Some curious stuff happened later in teh race, never mind Dini's disco. I have grudgingly started using the Prib bar that tells you relative distance to those around you, and Greg started jumping 700m ahead of me, then 100 behind etc. When his name went dark green I assumed (correctly) that the server had lost him, so was never sure what position he was in..until I passed him after a spin. All of a sudden I was 3rd, but it looks like Clive may be reinstated ahead of me...does that mean we need to called him Riccievil???  Cheesy
