The 7th round of the season 26 Historics championship (mod66) will be in Germany on the Nürburgring.

Please restrict chat to pit messages including at the end of the race until ALL drivers still racing have crossed the line.

The race will be run under PRO rules so no resets are allowed.

For THIS RACE, 2 liters car must be selected

All drivers have free choice (2 liters cars only) except the 2 leaders due to their thirty point margin over the next driver
Evil Clive and Tristan BOT will be restricted to Group 1 cars :

I will host it with my new Linux server, after I have installed the 66mod.  Wink

UKGPL_8 will be up on Tuesday afternoon to test it

This will require some testing - not sure what you're using there.  I hope grumbling is supported, rather than using Wine. Huh

gpl and igor run fine under wine , i don't understand your comment .

these days both the gpl race lists run on linux servers , igor race list is a native program and vrocs is emulated , so what's your problem ?

I prefer grumbling to wining, and have this problem with spelling.  I expressed my approval to Cookie earlier in chat - seems a good way to go. Wink

Sorry Arf, completely missed my braking point. Sad

I ripped a wheel off at Adenauer Bridge. Car was undriveable cos I kept hitting things more solid than vehicles.

We must stop meeting like this Clive  laugh

I did not want to hold you up early on so I gave you space as early as I could to allow you back through. However I was surprised to meet you again later in the lap, across the track minus a wheel.
No problem for me but sorry to see you lose the chance for valuable points.

I had to have a quick look at the replay before I disconnected to see how you got stranded and all was revealed. I assume the driver concerned discovered a wasp in his cockpit otherwise I cannot explain his sudden solo off track excursions. Note to the moderation team, I did not apply Vulcan mind control over this car...................on this occasion  laugh

Better luck next time to everyone who checked out early.

Greg, Jethro HuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuh?

I don't know how bad I screwed up. I thought Iestyn was going to rear end me and I lost it trying to brake late on a wide line. I'm lousy from the Nordkehre to Aremberg. I can't imagine how much chaos I caused. It's all a blur to me. I apologize. If I race these cars again I will start at the back. I guess I should say, if I'm allowed to race these cars again. I'm sorry.

I am beginning to wonder if someone has painted a target on my cars  blink

I deliberately did not try for a fast quali time, so that I avoided the fast guys up front and was content to just pick up places where I could. But it seems that in every race lately, if anyone is going to lose control up ahead their car is sure to find a way to bounce back and nail me!  I must have been very bad in a past life.....I hope I enjoyed it  Wink
